I personally prefer to see underwater swimming it would be great for tasks that thoughs who can not swim can do. i think it would be natural and all in all covering a new element that can involve its own puzzles and challenges.

I'd like to see some undr-water swimming as well. Hopefully OWI will bring back the SeaRex for a real challenge to the under-water levels. (Aren't they extinct?)

Underwater Swimming...not Burp Possession, that would just be throwing the game to the Dogs.

Wired Underwater

It would be incredible to have a level in a future Oddworld game that takes place completely underwater. Imagine the possibilities: sunken ships, seaweed, large and amazing aquatic creatures, explorable caverns, etc... All with the XBOX's smooth and realistic graphics. I have an artistic vision friends and I like what I see.

I thought Munch could allready swim underwater? I don't have Munch's Oddysee so I don't now nuttin. But yah, that would be cool, a quick Q for ya though, does Abe swim? I think that'd be funny, see him trying to doggie-paddle around. Heh. So I voted underwater swimming. It would be even cooler though if you could see Abe swim underwater. See him kicking around, and trying to do a cannonball but his loincloth falls off, haha!

Dead Nope

No, Abe drowns like a bowling ball. He screams, "Help, Munch, I'm takin' a beatin' out here," when he does.

You know the next game just might have under water areas to explore. If you read my topic on Oddworld info future and past The facts in the interview with Lorn Lanning seemed promiseing. He said the next game is suposed to be 80% better than MO. Thats awesome if thats the case there just might be under water stuff. He also said they are planning on creating fully completed 3D backgrounds and not the stuff we have been seeing. So there again is anouther possibility.

But I would love to see Munch explore under water reagions of Oddworld and only Munch. Abe would go off on some other mission to rescue Sam While Munch needs to find out about his past or watch over the Gabbier. If anything it has to do something with the Gabbier.

Actualy Abe does have water abilities, rather simple in fact. Jump, fast, right as you hit the sruface of the water, you lose none or very little health. I find it easier sometimes to use Abe for water parts, actualy. But, yes, underwater abilities. Levels, ideas, all advantage of the X-Box could be taken to produce enviroments. The other two, I don't know, I thought this was going to be serious at first.

Question Underwater

What would OI do with an underwater level of Oddworld? Would there be a problem that the Glukkons were causing underwater, such as pollution or would it be a test for Munch? For example, Munch would face ferocious creatures as a test like Abe did in the temples. What do you all think?
