As you all should know, spam stands for Stupid Pointless Annoying Messages, and generally pisses people off. Let's have a look at some things.

When posting topics:
Stupid - Can be stupid, as long as it is reasonable.
Pointless - Don't post pointless topics, like M.O.M did. (sorry M.O.M)
Annoying - Don't post annoying topics, like giving people shit for having a different opinion than you.

When posting replies:
Stupid - As long as it is on topic.
Pointless - Don't write pointless off topic replies. They don't acheive anything
Annoying - The big N-O! Like I said, these messages piss people off. Don't write single word replies, or 34rpujfh43upfhruo4ehfgiuorehgvoyure replies either. You will get banned, as I once did (I got banned for bad mouthing Abe Babe).

1. That's questionable.

2a. What's wrong with one-word replies? Sure. Most one-word replies are spam but not all.

2b. What username were you using at the time and what did you say about her?

I post a lot of Stupid Pointless tests/games/links. But I wouldn't call them Spam. I call them something that everyone can enjoy. So you see Stupid and Pointless things aren't always SPAM.

There has been a lot of spam lately, mostly coming from a couple of new members. I wont embarrass them by saying who they are, it's rather obvious.

By the way, those spamming in this topic: it's not funny or witty. It's a waste of bandwidth and a waste of time. Stop it or be banned.

"Stupid", "Pointless", and "Annoying" are all subjective terms, which is why Spam can never be policed properly. I think the most accurate definition of Spam is "Things that Sydney thinks are Spam." I'm not being cheeky or sarcastic in saying that, I mean it. It's his board...
