Oddworld Logo Necklace Questions

I have had an urge for a long time to make a necklace based off the OWI logo. All the ones I see online look poorly built and made of clay. I want to drag a 3D printer into this. I am posting a few questions just to see what you guys think.

Do you see the OWI logo's gem as transparent, or opaque?

Do you see the OW gem egg shaped, or a flattened disk?

Do you think the gem is held by 2 prongs, one from each side, or only one in the front? (see image http://i.imgur.com/0jB4iwf.jpg)

I'ma hazard a guess and say it's a wooden carving, almost flat but raised to add definition.

Sherry has an Oddworld Logo pin, maybe you can base your design on it.

You can see it in this video:

transparent - maybe with glow stick-a-like juice floating in it or LEDs or something.

Do you see the OW gem egg shaped, or a flattened disk?
egg but I guess disk is more practical.

Do you think the gem is held by 2 prongs, one from each side, or only one in the front?
Probably just the front.. but again is that practical, would that hold?

You'd be lucky to see anything in that video.

I agree that the idea of two prongs would help in holding the gem in place. Or maybe if the gem is stuck to a sort of plaque from the back and held by a single prong up front? Though the back might compromise the look you are going for.
I always thought of the gem being either spherical or raised in front and flat on the back like a dew drop
