Where did you download that? I didn't realise remastered versions were released. I absolutely love the classic Spyro music.

Do you think they'd remake the CGI cutscenes, or leave them alone? Remaking them might be borderline blasphemy...xP

i did not read whole topic but i would enjoy to see in Abe's Oddysee HD one thing - All'ya command
How about scrolling with some kind of animation that is always triggered ? Short abe's walk to next screen... that could improve the whole effect of new 3d too... but only with proper camera move
and one question - it is only planned for P3? or PC too?

I just wonder how most would respond seeing the original's still great cutscenes being redone. Unless Lorne and company direct them of course...

It'd be nice for the cutscenes to be done in HD.

I also wouldn't mind Lorne recording a few more lines for the game as well.

Agreed, I just wonder if they'd need to be redone to properly coalesce into newly rendered enviornments...

It would make AO waaaaay too easy. AE is fine, but for the original...I like the more unforgiving feeling.

Didn't they already confirm that Quiksave will be in AO HD?

Anyways, I'm pretty sure they'll add an achievement/trophy where you have to beat the game without quiksaving.

Wow, that's a bold bet... OWI has always be known for it's amazing precomputed cutscenes, I'm not sure realtime rendered cutsecenes will be as nice looking.

This is random but I would like to see a Day/Night cycle. If you stuck on a path for a long time, the days passes.

and come on, who wouldn't wanna see see Scrabania, Paramonia and Moasic Lines in Night?

Maybe not a day/night cycle, but seeing certain areas at different times of day would be pretty cool.

For example, you could begin Paramonia at sunrise or something, and as you travel through it the day steadily passes, and you arrive at the Paramonian Temple at dusk.

It would add a little bit more life to the world, I think.

And then you go backwards in the path from the sun setting to it rising.

Sun rise, sun set~

Real-time rendering of those cut scenes with the same polycounts/quality is not possible on todays machines.. for one thing they're nurbs anyway.

Also I don't see a problem with quiksave, if you don't like it then don't use it :P

AO has autosave points in the middle of paths. If you could only save at the beginning of a path, it would be very very difficult indeed.

I'm unsure what it means about Rendered in realtime? So there isn't any loading between them?
