How will you describe oddworld to a person who knows zero about it?

Ok, let me explain myself:
i'm from israel and the english teacher gave assigment to do a project on any subject in english offcourse.
So with no doubt i chose to do my project about oddworld.
Now i'm on a dilema because i don't know how to start...
how can i describe oddworld to her?
maybee someone from U.S that knows english well can write for me an introduction about oddworld or just giving me ideas how to start?

I would recomend changing your subject instead of just making it hard on yourself. You cant translate words from oddworld, they are made up. just stick to somat simple.

You could tell her it is a video game based on a fictional world. The world has land muggers and tree huggers. Try not to mention characters but what they do and stand for. Tell it is a living world but ya dont need to listen to me.

2) Cos your fellow peers will immediatly go "Haha...GEEK"

Tell her its a parody of real life. Like you have the big Co-orps and then you have the little people and so on. Tell her its like the American West...were the Native Americans were getting the bad side of the deal while the Whites were manipulating everything around them. From food to land. Dunno if this will help or anything. If it doesn't...you could try and do something easier...like Violence on TV or how violent games de-sensitise people or even why men are so dilusional and think that they are the stronger sex and better at everything than a woman (Well...the majority of men think that).

Or coz Oddworld is an fictional topic and cannot be tranlasted, maybe you stick to something short,simple and sweet!
