Ok, I'm new here, you can prolly see that right off the bat. So I have some questions. I have been reading all sorts of info on OW, but just recnelty joined up here. How and or who are all these people and how do you know about them?

Octigi(sp?) Familiy
Chroniclers (sp?)
Kunzumerz (sp?)
Lady Margret
Sam (I know who this is- but where did ya get the info on her)
and the Slig queen.. Skillz, I don't even know how to spell all these names *heh*

Any help or links would be great, I just can't fill my brain with enough "ODDformation"

1 it's only a shetch but I can't find it back
2 they are some bankers on Oddworld here is a pic.

3 I know nothing about them only they are te consumers.
4 it's the queen of the glukkons here is a pic

5 it's the mudokon queen that normaly appeared in MO but was canceled, we will see her maybe in ME

Hello there Landale. Welcome to the Oddworld Forums. I'm not one to introducing myself, but this seems like the perfect place to do so. Perhaps you will appreciate the title peope have thrust upon me: The Oddworld Encyclopaedia (or Dictionary. It varies).

Firstly, the Octigi Family is a biological set of creatures of which the Glukkons are a member. So far, we know of three other members of the family. Looking at the below picture, you will see that they are named as 'Gloctigi', '0.1' and '0.2'.

0.1 is interresting because it gives a clue to the relationship, biologically speaking, between the Glukkons and the Sligs...closer than we'd imagine, methinks.

0.2 is rumoured to be the species that forms the Oddworld Mafia.

Now, the Chroniclers are the accountants, lawyers, stock-brokers and thieves of Oddworld. They run the financial stuff, and they're after Lady margaret who owes them a lot of money. You'll find out why later.

Khanzumerz are the most important species on Oddworld, as far as the profit-greedy Glukkons, Vykkers and Chroniclers are concerned. They buy all the consumer goods and all. No one knows where they get all that Moolah from, though. No picture, I'm afraid.

Lady Margaret is in trouble, not only because her lungs are giving in, but her most profitable child, Molluck, has been reported missing since the closure of RutureFarms. She's very angry with him, even though he's her favourite kiddie, because now she has to pay the Chroniclers all the money for the factory, the products, the GSP-type stuff - all the stuff you really don't want to know about.

Which was where Lulu came in. He was the purchase RuptureFarms and find Molluck etc. etc. OWI changed story blah blah, who knows what'll happen know.

such pretty pictures *heh* and from that one, the Gluk's realy do resemble squids/octipi. More stuff to make my brain go crazy...

Mugs are the carnivorous adult form of Meetles. Feed a Meetle Grub meat, and it'll develop into a Mug. This design of the Mug is rather outdated now, as later images reveal the Mug to look more or less like an adult herbivorous Mug, just with big tusks and tall wings.

Glukkons employ Mugs to be fitted with tank equipment - guns, armour, and so on. They were originally planned to appear in Munch's Oddysee (along with reems of other things, such as Choniclers, Queens, Kintos, Sea Rexes etc.), but never quite reached the final cut. Expect them to make their debut performance in Oddworld: Munch's Exoddus, due to be released after many plot-changes.

since i played only in abe's odysee and abe's exoddus i don't know what are all the creatures that you mantioned.
can you give pictures or explain me more?

OWI haven't realeased any pictures of Skillya yet, as far as I know. What you're thinking of is probably that mug picture.

Okay, here for your pleasure, is a brief rundown of some of the creatures you're most likely not to know anything about:

Kintos
A peaceful part of Oddworld's wildlife, they live on mountains using their strong toes to climb up vertical surfaces. They dislike anything to be above their heads, but the Glukkons have used them as slaves.

Scoots
Small squid-like fish also called Worry Fish because they always look worried. They look worried because they're probably about to get eaten by a Gabbit or Sea Rex.

Skeeter
A nasty flying insect that looks a bit like a Meetle, but weirder. The only picture I have is a poor photo of a bad picture on a computer screen. I'd scan it in, but the quality would, unbelievably, deteriorate. They like to lift people off the ground a drill into their heads. It's the creature refered to when in the Abe's Exoddus manual it says something about creatures with 'tentacles or nasty poison spikes that penetrate the brain'.

Mudflubs
Obese but cute river-dwelling critters exploited for their energy-efficient blubber, which can be turned into aviation fuel.

Stangs
An aquatic creature, basically half shark and half jellyfish.

Skrikits
Green cockroaches.

There's others, but they're more known about.

Actualy there is notice meetle on the pic and AbeBabe has it whit the Mug mention

Mugs are totaly other in the finnal design.
