Ever played any of the Oddworld games while intoxicated?

Recently; with news of the new Oddworld projects on the way, I decided try and complete AO and AE by saving all the Muds (something I've never accomplished before; yes I know, shame on me). I've been playing AO for the past week now and yesterday I finally got to the last level; but I had to save it there and head off with my mates for a major drinking session in our local town, so I decided...for lolz; to try and complete the level while intoxicated. As you can tell; it was quite a mission but I actually did quite well until it came to saving the Mud next to the 3 UXBs, this is where I kept failing and eventually in drunken frustration...I gave up and went to bed.

So; I wondered, out of interest...has anyone ever tried playing the Oddworld games while pissed? If you have; tell me your experiences, good or bad. :P

I haven't yet. I may do this a lot this year in university mind you. I'll let you know how it goes..

I think my most played drunk game is Tekken 2 or Driv3r..

Tekken is generally trying to complete it whilst intoxicated.
Driv3r is.. well, a festivity of glitches and endless sniggering for hours.

I have when I used to do drugs. It was pretty much the same. I know, sounds boring, but it didn't really change my experience of the game all that much other than make it a little funnier. I never drink enough to get pissed or hammered. I just like a little buzz.

Indeed; haha, theres nothing wrong with getting drunk now and again just as long as you don't go too far too often. :P

I never get hugely drunk because I'm not yet 16 but when I drink, perhaps I should get my gaming thing on for AE as well? The lonely drinker I am.

Only ever plan to drink alone if you're prepared not to tell anyone of having done so.

Otherwise its socially questionable behaviour apparently.

Actually, I think by just stating that, I've breached my own rules..

Well, I've never played any Oddworld games whilst drunk. The only games that I have played smashed was Halo 3, Guitar Hero 3, Oblivion and Trivial Pursuit. Ensures quite a lot of laughs especially Halo and Guitar hero, I never really planned on playing Oblivion whilst drunk I just thought I'd pick up the game and wack it on. But I must definitely try AO drunk... that would be quite funny.

The Wii's a shifty thing to play when drunk..

I spent a whole night watching my friend play House of the Dead on the Wii with two controllers, just giggling at the concept of using two controllers as dual weapons..

Then another time we 'played' Endless Ocean for 4-5 hours. And by played I mean swam in circles.

This doesn't count but My uncle has played games whilst drunk if its a special occasion. I'll ask him about Oddworld, Seeing he is the one that introduced me to AO

Nah; drinking alone isn't cool, in fact...its kinda depressing. I only drink when I'm around friends who are drinking; it makes things a lot more enjoyable, just don't ever go too far while your drinking...otherwise it ruins things.
