Xbox prize and date launch in Europe!!!!!!!!!!

It´s official the Xbox price in Europe will be 479 euros and de definitive date lauch will be 14-march-2002.

The wait is going to be very, very long...

i should be able to afford that by then...i have 1 Xmas and 1 Bday before then...

It's not so much expensive as the PS2 for me (belgium) and the games (55euros)are not to expencive too...

But it's long time to wait

No, but the ps2 has got a DVDplayer and the XBOX not (yes they have, but not included)

well, the Xbox HAS got a DVD player...INCLUDED

let's compare prices...
Xbox: £300
PS2: (at launch) £300 (i think)
PS2 DVD player: more than nothing

therefore:
Xbox inc. DVD player = £300
PS2 inc. DVD player = more than £300

and since the PS2 is expandable (ie. you can add bits to it), it will suffer from the same things as PC games do...

. Anyhoo, I just want to say that you Europeans are taking everything really well. I was whining when XBOX got pushed back a week, but...Oh well. You should all buy the 'BOX. I know it'll be a whole lotta $$$, but I think it'll be worth it.
