Has anyone besides me ever experienced this? It's hard to explain if you have not. I used to smoke happily and free of troubles, Then one day I sparked a blunt with my mates and the increased heart beat started to trouble me, my legs felt very funny and I was all shaking. I felt so in the moment that it was disturbing focusing to much on others body language and motives then actually contributing to conversations. Which you guessed it can lead to people talking crap about, right in front of my face. And I would either get really angry or hurt. Well I had to stop because it was so frightening of an experience losing control like that. I thought I was the only one but i found some others that shared the experience. It supposedly happens if your mood isn't right going into the high.. smoking to much and being uncomfortable at the level your on, or the people your around you don't know to well and aren't trust worthy. I have quit smoking both cigarettes and marijuana in an effort to live a long and healthy life. And also so I can hopefully make varsity in basketball this year in school. I would like to light up some reefer when school's over with but I want it to be the way it used to be.

So please share your story's or experiences.

Haha yeah.. Murder never came to mind with me but people around me thought I was so wacked out they we're hoping they wouldn't be my first victim.

Did you know that cigarettes and alcohol are also kinds of drugs? If you were serious, then most of the world would be a loser. Also I think drugs come in when people have personal problems and can not solve them easily, so they start using them to calm down - feel better about it. Others use them to look cooler and to be accepted in specific groups of people. I personally do not support any kind of drugs, even though I sometimes use them. (The legal ones)

Belive it or not, the when the teacher talks about drugs for the god-knows-how-manyth time, they are actually giving us usefull infomation.

I only tend to get paranoia when I'm in a situation where I would usually be a bit wary, cautious or afraid.

The symptoms you explained look more like simply smoking too much in a short space of time and feeling really ill/sick.

My firend got high and walked into a bush then spent the night in there with his shirt off scaring old people and jupming in front of cars and motorbikes, he was 14, I h8 almost all drugs besides alco, THE WORLD SUKZ

I've been drinking Coca-Cola a long long time and I've never had the feeling of being addicted or suffering from withdrawal symptoms whenever I didn't drink the stuff for a week or two. So while it might be a drug in the scientific sense of the word, you don't get addicted to it nor does it have any negative effect on your body in normal quantities.

@Alienmagi: Yes I know those things are drugs and I think that anyone who uses both things to either make himself feel good or be accepted by others is a fucking retard. In the past you could still get away with not knowing smoking was bad for you. These days it's on the goddamn pack and teenagers still start smoking knowing it's bad for them. In my opinion your an idiot if you do that, much in the sense of "Hey, drinking this glass of acid will probably be bad for me, but lets do it anyway because it's cool".

Drinking is the same thing. Alcohol is not only an addictive drug, it's also a toxin your body has to work extremely hard for to get out of your system. Still people pour it into the hole in their face by the gallon. Your body is able to process one glass of alcohol per hour, be it a regular sized beer or a shot of strong liquor. Anything above that limit is permanently damaging to your body and, even more important, your brain. You know that hangover you get the next morning? That is your body telling you that you had way to much alcohol, so much in fact that your body has been dehydrated to a point where it will also damage your brain. So alcohol causes double damage to your body and your brain. This has been proven, has been told, anyone still abusing it is a stupid retard in my eyes.

You should ask yourself if you would still smoke or drink if it killed you within a week instead of within 30 years. In the end the effect is the same. You're deliberately killing yourself and people are still trying to defend it. I don't get it.

Bullshit. People DO get addicted to pepsi/Coca cola since it contains caffeine... it's not impossible. it's just not that common....

I've heard of people getting addicted to Red Bull and its clones. The high amounts of sugar and caffeine it contains makes people crave for more.
Maybe it's more effective for those who get really hyper? I dunno. The effects vary between different people, I guess.

I don't condone any sort of drug, the long term effects turn me off the idea completely. The only drug I'm open to is alcohol. And even then I limit myself to some every few months.

You can certainly overdose on caffeine, I've heard plenty of stories, but not addicted as far as I know. I think it's mainly sugar you can get addicted to in some way, which is kind of strange on its own.

You can get addicted to anything honestly... It's usually mental.. But caffeine IS a drug.. it alters your mental state, makes you feel good and more alert. Some people DO get addicted to it. Also some people cant seem to go through a day without it. And people DO go through withdrawal symptoms if they don't get it.

What makes peoplea ddicted to it, I don't know to be honest.

Yes, well... If I don't have at least one coffee a day, I get horrible headaches. That's all about the caffeine and not about the sugar.

It all comes down to quantities; drinking a few glasses of coke every now and then isn't going to make a difference. Drinking a few cups of coffee a day will. Also, caffeine can affect some people more than others, but that's a different issue.

Very valid point made.

This is my look on it (but only on a completely biased opinion) is that anyone, anywhere can take drugs if he/she chooses as long as it doesn't come to any direct harm to anyone else. This does not mean however that I am condoning drugs of any kind (well except probaly cocaine, heroine...)

And as for caffeine, tobbaco and alcohol are world-wide used, and trying to stop these would be absolutely cataclysmic because so many people is addicted to it and it would be seen as cruel in their eyes to take it away from them.

Grass is used as a medical treatment in some places to treat pain from arthritus or whatever and there is valid points for and against smoking grass. All in all I think we should let people do what they want and for the people who say "Drugs are for losers" don't judge people that you do not know.

Oh and A-G, the only time that I have been in that type of situation was the very first time I smoked it. It was during College time and I went back to class high and I was paranoid that I was going to get caught by the Lecturer, this was because I wasn't warn about what to expect.

Yes Havoc I agree with you, but when I said I sometimes do them I meant the coca cola, and cigarettes. I certanly do not do it because of looking cool or being accepted to people.

Also I do that very rarely, I havent smoked up for a month and 10 days for now.
