Help me I am stuck in a wacky anime!
Have you ever had something happen to you that is so odd that it can only be related to something out of an anime? Well, I am currently in such a situation.
Before I begin, allow me to state that I am known to read far too deeply into the actions of others seeking an underlying meaning. Anyway, my situation lies among the "wacky anime" road.
I have always been unlucky in matters of relationships. I have never been able to get one working, and even when I have it in the palm of my hand, I end up screwing up so badly that the damage is irreperable (spelling?) and I am totally jammed into the "friend" zone. The last two weeks have been getting more and more odd as more of my male friends have become increasingly vicious towards each other. A fight is sure to break out soon between my best friend and my former closest friend. Yet this is not the odd part - most of my female friends are getting really flirty and may have crush on me. Allow me to break these three up into chapters (names will be changed to protect the innocent).
Lilian:
Lilian became good friends with me about two years ago during a crisis in which my former best friend backstabbed me (more on that later). She is very much into anime, video games, Starship Troopers, and Dragonball Z (I know I already said anime but she is fanatical about DZ). She's not bad on the looks (pretty face), but she's a bit large (not a problem to me though as I am not in the least superficial/her height balances out her weight). Her only flaws are that she tends to be quite loud when speaking (she has to do so since she has a condition - will not go deeply into it) and tends to constantly chuckle in class for no apparent reason. Few people seem to like her for some reason. She is also pretty sarcastic and some of her comments hit me deep (ouch).
Flirting: Over the past few days she has been getting really complementary towards me and she is constantly saying how sweet I am. I caught her winking at me one day.
Nina
Nina is a really sweet girl and like Lilian she is overweight (though on her it tends to really show as she is short). She has a VERY lovely face though - her glasses enhance her good looks. I became friendly with her again about two weeks ago as the last time I had seen her was back at the stage crew party (I was in the stage crew last year for the play) where she was flirting with me. She is pretty funny and loves to write (a hobby of mine). She laughs at my jokes too (odd).
Flirting: She's pretty touchy (physically) and smiles at me a lot. In many cases she tends to come up to me and start a conversation. It may not sound a lot, but I have a bit of a crush on her so it means a lot to me.
Elizabeth
Remember the crisis I told you about with my friend backstabbing me? Well, this was what it was about - I had been friends with her for two years and he had never met her before. It's a really long story, so I'll condense it: I receive injuries that prevent me from going to a dance where I told him that I was finally going to ask her out. He goes and having only spoken to her for two hours (never before that dance), they go out for five months. The thing that angered me most is that he didn't even like her and he did CONSTANT phsyical flirting with her right in front of me (I spoke to her later and she said that the physical touching was p*ssing her off). So, they break up in January (he says because "he wanted a serious relationship and she just wanted to have a fun relationship" - lamen terms [so I believe] he wanted to get physically farther and she declined). I speak to her later and she says that she felt that I liked her and that's why I was really angry towards her for the longest time (I was angry because a good friend of her said that she knew I liked her all the while during the midst of this).
Flip Forward>> It's been about six months. She's still super-nice towards me (always been) and I came clear about why I was angry towards her. The subject was dropped afterwards.
Alright, now that the history is over I'll explain about Elizabeth. She has a very beautiful face and a great figure. She writes lots of poetry (much of it is gothic and I gave her the nickname "Evil/Scary Beth" because of it) and a semi-constant optimistic view on life. She laughs at a lot of my jokes and is always sweet towards me (I was the first friend she had when she moved her three years ago). She has a bit of an aggressive behavior to boot. I've always had the biggest crush on her and it's still as strong as it was before my friend backstabbed me (I'm very easy to emotionally lead).
FLIRTING: This past week she has been even more aggressive than usual (in a mostly sweet way). The other day I spent 20 minutes trying to wrestle my jacket from her (we were in an after-school activity). She's also been very touchy with me lately.
This last week three of the people we know kept on making comments that either a) we looked like a couple or b) we should be a couple or c) questions asking if we were a couple.

I just wanted to vent this out as I didn't want to tell my family (they'd make too big of a deal out of it all) and my friends are a little too difficult to deal with these days. I consider you guys my pals so I decided to tell you.
