Final Fantasy Fans

There are a few Final Fantasy Fans on here from what I have heard... and I thought I would start a topic (based on FreakyLA's suggestion). So here's a few questions to find out about other FF fans here...

What is your favorite FF game?
What is your favorite FF character?
What is your favorite FF song?
Add anything else you want about FF

As for me...

My favorite FF game is Final Fantasy VII. It was the first FF game that I played... and still remains my favorite (although I am still in the middle of completing VIII and IX).

My favorite FF character is (obviously ... see new personal photo) Sephiroth!!! He is so cool. I am never usually someone who is a fan of bad guys... but for some reason I am a huge Sephiroth Fan. There's just something about him!

My favorite FF song is One Winged Angel. This is basically Sephiroth's music... and is awesome. I also like Melodies of Life from FFIX and Eyes on Me from FFVIII... plus a whole bunch of other songs.

Anything else... I've only been a fan since the end of last year. I used to think that FF was a 1 on 1 fighter game... until my brother told me otherwise. So I went and got FFVII and FFVIII. Grid would have to take some credit for me getting so into FF... as we were chatting on MSN and got talking about FF ... and he told me all about FFIX and from there I became a fanatic! Although not as fantical as I am about Oddworld. I may love Final Fantasy... but I love Oddworld even more!!!

Hi Babe of the games world. I would say FF7, FF8, and FF9 are toss ups. The next one will surpass without a doubt.

My favorite character too would be Sephiroth. Now believe it or not I look bit like him, weather that's good or not is not my call. However my hair is not quite so outlandish up front. I've done without the two major pieces of hair in the front. And I looked like this before he was ever concieved, so I'm still the original. Maybe the Square developers saw me at a show and created the character after my looks. That would be cool.

FFX will be soo great. Can't wait for a good look at it at E3.

I'm relatively new to the world of FF but here goes...

My fav game is FFIX, I really like the cartoonish look so I'm not really looking forward to FFX, especially since I won't have a PS2.

My favourite character is Vivi Ornitier, as well as being one of the few characters I've played as, he's a cute little black mage and I think he rocks.

My favourite FF song (although I haven't heard many) is Fithos Lusec Wicos Vinosec from the FFVIII opening movie, I have multiple versions of it as mp3's and also have the opening movie on my PC.

ve downloaded the FFIX soundtrack and piano collections plus the FFVIII Fithosa Lusec album as MP3's. I own FFVII and FFVIII but my PSX crashes during FFIX so I've only played a bit of it when I hired it.

I've never seen the appeal with these games. What is it about FF games that makes them so popular?

well fav music? I never took care about it. Why do people think it´s so cool? i dunno

fav caracter( please tell me how to spell this word!) well is there one? I just know that I hate Aeris and Tiffa. THEY ARE SO SILLY! arg!! perhaps my fav one is cloud i dunno. But i like the cocobos. and i like the guarding force shiva.

My fav game is ff7. I´ve only got 7 and 8. Have the games before 7 been realised in your country? Not in mine.

FreakyLA: it's spelt "Character", as Abe Babe spelt it earlier

The list is done with the buttons using the "Instant UBB Code" with the 'List-Start', 'List-Item', and 'List-End' buttons. use them accordingly. Hope that helps you.

Wow... that's pretty cool... a guy that looks like Sephiroth!!! Actually, IMO, it's awesome!!!

I think one of the main reasons why FF is so popular is due to the epic storylines. Also, the RPG genre is very popular, and Square has managed to create a series of games that have everything this genre is about.

FreakyLA, Japan of course got all of the games in the FF series. I can remember playing Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest (FFII I think) on my old Super Nintendo. Although I know there is some naming differences with the original FF releases in Japan and the US (don't know if anyone can clear this up). Other than the original Nintendo releases, in the US FFV and FFVI were re-released on the PlayStation as "Final Fantasy Anthology. They also got a game called Final Fantasy Tactics. In July Final Fantasy Chronicles will be released in the US which is FFIV and Chrono Trigger (another classic Square RPG). Don't know if it will be released in any other country though.

I found them when i was searching for Ow Desktop themes. There´s a list of all ff desktop themes. Take a look at them and choose wich one you whant!

On this site you can also find wallpapers and screensavers and stuff. But I´m not sure if there´re some of ff.

i like FF VII the most i thinks... my favorite character is squall(from VIII) he is so sexy and cool.

I have FFVII and VIII, haven't got round to buying IX yet. Favourite one is VIII by a margin. Laguna is cool and I also like Zell coz he's a bit ditzy! I also like Cloud in VII, he's cool. I have him as wallpaper at work, he's on his motorbike with his sword and my name underneath in kinda molten letters - cool.

Don't know about music, I don't pay an awful lot of attention. I felt the music when Aeris died was really sad. I like the upbeat stuff when you're fighting a mini boss.

I'm not sure why he hasn't replied.

When I first played FFVII I actually thought Cloud was cool... and I didn't like Sephiroth AT ALL!!! It wasn't until later on that I became a Sephiroth fan... and I can't even really why!!! LOL

sephy is cool. he has got cool eyes. I wanna have the same! i like the ff7 story line.
in ff8 I don´t understand what this parts with laguna and co should be. But i haven´t completed it yet.
