I've always thought of Oddworld made in to, like...a WoW-type of game. Oddworld like WoW...What a dream to live up to...^^

It would be great! An immense world like Oddworld as an online playing game!!! "MY" game won't be like WoW... my inspiration is "GTA", but without blood and vehicle theft!
ABOUT THE GAMEPLAY
Oddworld: Quintoddogy has a total different gameplay compared to the previous games (Munch's Oddysee and Stranger's Wrath).
Infact if you have played Munch, you have realized that the gameplay is ripetitive, boring and linear! Infact, I take as example the "Slog-hut levels": it's very strange that there are falling "Bonepowder Keg" and mines everywhere! It's a Slog-hut or a mine field???? MEH!
Another problem of Munch (and with Stranger's Wrath too) is the excessive "linearity": there are always a "forced" way, and, when in Stranger you complete a bounty in a zone, then you cannot return there! WHY???
BUT in Quintoddogy there are less linearity! You can travel around Oddworld using: birds portal (you can teleport into sacred Mudokon building such as "Monsaic Lines", "Necrum" and "Almighty Raisin Cave"... and other too...), boats, trains and of course ELUM!!!!! You can use Elum everywhere, even inside a factory
... if you kill it, you can find others into Mudokon villages... but, beside this, there are many others travelling way!
You can GENERALLY return to an old village or factory: about factory, such as Rupture Farms and Soulstorm Brew, when shutted down, you won't still able to return into them.
Quintoddogy will use the control system of Stranger's Wrath with some changes: there isn't a "Regain Health" button, there are "Rigenerators" instead (that brew with the "wired Mudokon face" into the vendos machine). There are three "attack buttons": one for the primary weapon (which can has also a secondary fire), one for the melee attack and one for throwing stuff such as rocks or grenades. Then there are comands "obligatory" for all "action - platform" games such as jump, roll, et cetera...
GAMESPEAK will return. If you press a button (which in the "PS3" version is L2) you can "pass" in the "Gamespeak modality": for talk, press one of the directional buttons! If you want to say "Hello", Press L2 + Up (press and release). The "All ya" comand is L2 + Up (but being pressed). Right? L2 + R2 is the special power of the characther controlled... and, as I say before: ALL CHARACTHERS CAN TALK!
Weapons: every characthers have their weapons. Abe will not use Slig weapons, the same will do Stranger... he has his double barrell crossbow
. Almost all the weapons have a secondary attack (Stranger's crossbow for example, since it has two barrell, the primary fire is of the left ammo, and the secondary of the second). During the game you can recieve or find other weapons... and if you have enough spooce shrubs/Moolah you can power up them! A well - powered weapon can be very useful in a boss fight
The game will not become easy with weapons... so don't think even if Abe has his spooceshrubs bow can become a "war-machine". It's better don't fight useless battle... unless you have to do it!
Other changing: like a GTA game, Oddworld will take "some of it"... no, Abe won't stole vehicles from Slig
(even it would be funny!). There are "radar" in the left - bottom corner which shows the map! The radar works like a "GPS", and there are also a "white blinking dot" where tell you where to go (if you want, ignore them and explore Oddworld
).
For example, in the Rupture Farms (at the beginning), that dot tell you the "escape way": you think that is too easy? Go to option and disable the radar, nobody will rebuke you!
When you complete an "objective", then next "mission" will start! You have escaped from the Rupture Farms? Well, mission accomplished... new mission: escape from Stockyards
