Too bad Tourettes guy died.

Truth be told, I don't think he did, I think traffic on his site has died down, so they were afraid of losing money, and just stopped making it.

Ah well. time will tell.

I loved Tourette's Guy. He reminds me of Jim Robinson.

Why does this fact not frighten me in untold ways?

Proabably because I forgot who Jim Robinson is.
Or just never knew who he was.
So, who is he?

The owner of freerepublic.com

He once told someone who disagreed with him politically "up yours asswipe" (http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-...5/replies?c=50)

He told a woman debatng with him about Bill O'Reilly "Up yours" (http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-...&;page=951#953)

He said all gays must be removed from positions with children (http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1713830/posts)

He looks like this (he's the guy on the left. They look awfully quayr);

(Guy in center)

Tourette's Guy looks like this;

When he gets to Heaven and dies, he's probably going to say to God, "UP YOURS ASSWIPE!"

He's confined to a wheelchair and is a Vietnam veteran and father (though has incredibly worn out all sympathy)

If a DVD promoting terrosim, violence and has racial discrimination, and discrinimation against minority groups and religeons such as jewdasim, and possiblely christianity, and has views blaintly against the western world, and the opperator is clearly assicoated with muslim extremist terrorist leaders, is rated PG by the australian censors, then I think videogame violence is quite overrated.

I see no reason why the Gunpowder treason should ever...be...forgot!

But yeh, that film does rock.

I loathe how films like that make things black and white, though. And make the Right wing all bad. And make comparisons to Hitler and have him all 'evil' and the like.

You can be Right wing and sensible, but that's never explored in films, to the best of my knowledge.

Aaaaaaaanyway, moving on, i'm torn by the whole deportation thing. Though saying that, if they're going to support Terrorism, i see no reason why they shouldn't be removed from a society which they supposedly hate.

I think the argument that video games cause violence or violent media generates violence is almost completely unfounded. This is a bunch of bs cooked up to shift blame from parents and the society as a whole in their creation of persons who commit atrocities such as school shootings, etc.

Jacob; I thought that V for Vendetta wasn't so morally clear. Certainly it wasn't totally supporting V's actions; the morals were rather murky.

Violence in vidya games? Making me (or anyone else in my age group) stupid and violent? NAW.

It all comes down to what thier parents taught them about maturity in older social situations. I have, and now me and my mom like to run people over repeatedly in GTA.

I can curse whenever I want when company isn't here and when my little imp of a sister is asleep. I can stay up late and watch adult swim, and various late-night shows on comedy central (the roast of william shatner was awesome). I can pretty much do every harmless thing an adult does, so long as I don't mention it in public to people who would be offended. And it's not like they would suspect me for terrorism or anything, because I'm just too calm for that. Plus, I can get away with anything concerning an adult as the authority: Use big words, say that you mean it in all respect, refer to them as sir or ma'm, and let them know you mean it in all truths (even though it really is an exuse). If they still don't believe you, look into thier eyes and don't glance to the side, and don't blink. It took a lot of practice, but I don't like to use it on easily dicovered lies. Not only is it not noble, but then they won't trust me. EVER.

It all comes down to maturity and the way parents taught them not to copy every single thing we see.

If I was that stupid and immmature, I would be flaming everybody here who hated all the games and bands that I like, as well as anybody who liked pie (cake rulz by the way), and I wouldn't be giving my spartan suit to my dad when I turn 16. I'd be keeping it, and the power suit, and i would probably go out running people over while wearing it, shouting "NOOBZ! YOU SUCZORZ AT DODGING MY MIGHTY INVINCIBLE CAR OF DEATHNESS!!! FEEL THE WRATH OF HALO!!!" THe only immature fan-girl thing I would do is to paint the suit black, and do the halo theme on electric guitar when I went to school. Even then, I'm still doing the blueprints.

The only violent thing I like (or would like) to do, it to torture a furby. And then ressurect it, and hook it up to an atari contoller to make it do the crazy frog dance, and then kill it again because it started clicking like the grudge.

Horseshit. Bush/Cheney don't fly planes into people's buildings. Or torture more than a dozen innocents by mistake. Go and live in Iran, then go and whine about the West.

And Nate, it would be NON VIOLENT. The Spanish Inquisition was violently torturing people until they converted. People who make pro Islam films in Australia clearly don't want to live in a secular democracy, and thus are incompatible with Western values, and should be deported back to countries they will actualy like.

"and by all standards Cock Cheney and His little ass-monkey Dubya are terrorists"

I agree with Paddy. All this "OH MY GOD! BUSH AND BLAIR AND THEIR COHORTS ARE ALL TERRORISTS TOO!" is just a whole of Michael Mooore Bull.

It really pisses me off when people try and do the right thing, make a genuine mistake, and then get heckled by the plebs who don't really understand what they're saying, but agree with it just because bands like Greenday support it.

Ugh.

"Jacob; I thought that V for Vendetta wasn't so morally clear. Certainly it wasn't totally supporting V's actions; the morals were rather murky"

Yeh, V's actions where definitely questionable. But in terms of the Government it's more of the same stuff we're fed. A Government that has good intelligence/security will use it wrongly and abuse it.

"You're a fool. That's like the Spanish Expulsion/Inquisition"

I'd say that anybody supporting Terrorism and encouraging it should definitely be given the option of bowing to the laws and respecting the country they're in, or leaving for a more socially backward country.

I, personally, wouldn't have a problem with anybody threatening or running down my country to be sent away. Britain is one of the few countries in the WORLD that works well. We have an issue with crime and criminality and the like, but hopefully Amnesty will all be shot and we can start dealing with the crims dutifully like the Fuhrer. ...erm, i mean, like a civilised country should.

*Cough*

OT: They don't deliberately attack innocents. Plus, their motivations aren't those of the terrorists, and their religions don't command them to convert by the sword. Once again, you don't know how damn lucky you are Bush is saving your ass, whether left or right. It's like saying Truman went to war in Japan for whale oil.

Terrorise Iranians? The hell? Unfortunately, the liberation of Iran has not commenced, but even when it does, the terrorising won't be intentional.

That's why I mentioned the Spanish Expulsion, where Ferdinand and Isabella forced all non-Christians to either convert or leave. I only mentioned the Inquisition as it has become more famous than its predecessor.

In any case, your impression of the Inquisition is also wrong, as it was more to do with detecting and punishing people who had pretended to convert to Christianity than forcing unwilling people to convert.

"Unfortunately, the liberation of Iran has not commenced, but even when it does, the terrorising won't be intentional"

I see that as fortunate.

Let the Iranians revolt and turn over their Government, we shouldn't be doing it for them. I hate all this talk that you get from Hippy's that we "allow atrocities to happen".

For instance, a few years back people were talking about remembering the Lolocaust and saying "It should never happen again", even though it IS happening. Now, when this was broached, you had a few mad-heads saying we should be trying to stop this.

...then, when we do something that is, in a manner of speaking, stopping such atrocities, you have the Hippies calling the people involved war criminals.

Let their sociaty evolve it's own way. If they're not going to rise up and fight for their rights, screw them, i don't see why we should waste our Soldiers lives, or our own, for that matter, helping a country that doesn't help itself.

I'm just going to ask Kastere to shut the hell up, because he obviously doesn't know what the hell he is talking about.

As for violent video games, you have to be pretty messed up already if playing GTA makes you want to murder some people.

And what exactly don't I know what I am talking about? Why don't you clarify and stop acting so juvenile.
