Odd (Earth) Pets

Does anyone here have an odd pet or pets? You know, pets that people dont usually have? As for me, I have 2 terrestrial hermit crabs named Pagoo and Xavier (not sure if that is odd or not.) and a black widow affectionetly (sp?) named Vena.

I've always wanted a terrestrial crab... maybe a nice big robber crab.

I used to have brine shrimp. And there was some animal in my room at university that I fed, though I never did get a good look at it.

I used to have some lizards. Until they all died. Then I had dried lizards. Those are pretty odd pets.

That would be called a roommate, they don`t count as pets.

I had some Triops a while back, I'll have to get more.

And for Robber crabs...can you actually get them that easily? I'd so have one then. Let it roam the house...

Oh yeah, I used to have Triops aswell.....until my mother "accidently" killed them with Windex.

I sota have a blue-tounge lizard. he [or she, I always refer to it as he. because I call him Sekto ] is wild but he's freindly and he lets me touche him and feed him.

Although theres another Blue-tounge living in our yard. This one's evil. I mistaked him for Sekto and when I approched him to give him some food he bit me and ran away.
He dosn't have a name.

I awhile ago, dad bought it home 'cause it had fallen into his pit (he's a mechanic, the pit is a hole in the floor under the car). We kept it for a night or two, but it didn't seem to eat what we tried to give it (it's so damn small!), so we released it in the end out in the garden in some long grass. About a fortnight (maybe more) later, I...saw it again. Almost exactly where we released it.
Since, I have seen it a couple more times round the same area in the garden.
I released it around...at least a month ago? And it's still milling about in exactly the same spot. Yayz.

Also, I ended up with a frog in a similar situation in our old house's pond. I often would pick it up, sit it on the side and it wouldn't move while I collected worms from under the rocks around the pond to feed him. I called it Frank. I recognised it among the others as it seemed to have some sort of hole in his back...it looked like bone showing through, a small white patch. It was dead thing when I found him at first, too, but he soon improved.

I've been nagging my mum for the last 10 months to get me an albino axolotol.

It's my birthday in two weeks so I hope I get one.....or two or three or four

I have cats, but they're normal, apart from the fact that they aren't really mine and come to my house to sleep and have food. The axolotl looks like a newt to me.

@Mox.Co: Axolotls are meant to be kept in separate tanks, alone.
@skillya: Normal 'wild' variety, or one with extra pigmentation. The white one with red gills is the most common albino variation found in shops.

Axolotls are a type of salamander, they live in 2 lakes somewhere-or-other in the wild, which are deficient of a certain mineral I forget the name of, so they do not mature into adults. Somehow, they evolved to be able to breed in the larval state. Through mineral or environmental triggering, the Axolotl can be made to metamorphose. The 'adult' form is similar to the Tiger Salamander, though there are a few notable differences, such as colouration mainly.

Yay, I have a wild fish with legs in the kitchen! Yayaya. My sis has a lassie dog, here she is;

Shes odd 'cause she 1) She is scared of flies,
2) she likes to bite people if they give her food. She is a greedy dog.
