Oddworld Desktop Themes

What Desktop Themes have been produced officially? The ones I have are the Abe's Oddyssey Desktop Theme that came with the CD and the wallpapers that can be downloaded even today in Oddworld.com.

I don't like the one on the CD for some reason. Just kinda...empty. I made one myself

Heheh, I love the Abe pointer =) Didn't some Abe's Exoddus CD come with one too? Mine, didn't, but who knows, heh... Or maybe there was downloadable stuff in the official site that doesn't exist anymore.

I have the AO and AE versions, I love the sounds it makes.
The 'okay' sound is just classic! I've been using them for at least a year, they rock.

There's no AE version. I think he was saying that the AO version was both on the AO and AE CD's.

It's on mine, I checked.

The two have a couple of differences I think...

Thanks a lot! As for the differences... the only one I could see was that the wallpaper was different (SoulStorm Brewery in Exoddus's instead of RuptureFarms).

I think there were a couple of icon changes, though I could be wrong. Just enjoy them, and I hope they work for ya!

Hmm not that I could find... I extracted both into different folders for each one of them, and after I removed the .theme files and the wallpapers, their size was the same. But oh I really wish they had something new =/ Btw, do Munch's Oddysee or Stranger's Wrath have desktop themes?

well they sertainly couldent come with the disc lol..

Only some wallpapers, no icons or cursors and stuff.

It's a shame, I'd love to have a fuzzle cursor! A stranger cursor would be cool too... Has anybody ever made their own Oddworld cursor before?

I went on The AO link provided by jordan but I dont know what to do next?

Usualy you simply have to follow the instructions megaupload gives you. What does it say?

I had to download the megaupload bar and install to be able to download... but it is fast, atleast!

I downloaded the toolbar and im still lost can some provied me with a direct link to the download.

I just gave the two links, you type the code into the box, and click download, it's simple, if you can't do it, I'm not uploading it again, it worked fine for me!

You have to enter the three digits it says you have to enter and then wait some 40 seconds.

EDIT: Also, you have to do it in Internet Explorer, not Firefox.

Wrong; it works flawlessly in Firefox. Did for me, anyway. You don’t have to download anything but the two ZIP files.

I hate to disagree with you but in some countries, like belgium, you have to download the bar at the moment or it wont let you download.

I never made any Oddworld cursors, but I made a Sonic set a year or two ago.
I reckon I could make some cursors if I was bothered...I used a program called Axialis Cursor, free trial (you know, the ones you can just keep forever?).
