Exclamation Slig Project

Ok first of all i am indeed a new member. i did not join just to request these things. i DO intend to stick around and post...

anyway...what is this all about you ask?. well I'm working on my very own. customized Slig avatar on the second life engine. so far i have the shotgun built and iv 'e started on the mech pants (( will post pictures later. ))

But what i need from you is sound files. I've had quite a hard time finding any... So links to sound files would be very welcome. the most important being the walking sound "ch ch ch u" that the pants give off.

also any detailed reference pictures wouldn't go a miss either

i will post later on when my grid comes back up once more to show you the detail of my work. Thank you for your time.

EDIT: i just realised this is in the wrong place. sorry...could you possibly move it for me mods?.

Wow, that's some nice work, Psyke. I'm not exactly up-to-date
on the latest things but is Second Life some kind game that allows
to customize machines and characters of what?

Yeah, I'd say this does belong in the Fan Corner, but I think
you'll get away with it being here until a moderator arrives.

second life is pretty much what it sells itself as. a second life. there are thousands upon thousands of islands. cities. countries...and its highly customizable due to the ability to build pretty much...anything you like. it's quite fun once you get into.

Ps. the avatar in the picture is Pyramid head of the silent hill fame. with my furry av under it :P

Wow, your work is truley amazing.
Hello, I am Taylor, I am pleased to meet you.
Joyed beyond all reason at your good respect.
You seem nice, but I am sorry I have no clue how to work the "sound file 'jiga ma' bob!'
And yes, this does belong in the fan corner. But we all made/make mistakes. They will not hate you or anything.

If you go to, say google or yahoo or something and type in "Oddworld sounds" there should be a site somewhere were you can find slig sounds and other oddworld sounds as well.
And those screen shots of your ava's look cool!

Update time!.

So i was flicking through Togg today and i noticed this.
http://www.oddworldlibrary.net/archi...=CAAO0003.jpg1

i just had to build it for two main reasons:
i love anything that even resembles steam-punk
and the rustic look on these pants just really caught my eye

So besides having my average slig avatar i will Also have a outdated slig with a single lense visor and old pants.

((pictures of the work in progress attached Enjoy!))

Very very impressive stuff Psyke. Sounds like this game is great fun, a more detailed version of The Sims, in fact. I'll try my best to find any Slig soudns that I can.

Hah thanks for the comments everyone!. Munchmaster. it's not so much of a game rather than vitual reality. there are no goals it's just really what you want it to be. people have made areas designed for fighting and such. heck even me myself loves to play Duck hunt (( snes game )) on second life with a friend

and those sounds would be brilliant. be it from any oddworld game or not just aslong as it's a slig :P

Just a little update this time. i replaced the flat fire animation with a real particle fire that flicks and such as you move. Iv'e also added a extra bit to the pipe to make it look much more smoother as you can see.

Thanks fer all the comments. i will be releasing the slig avatar to anyone from oddworld forums for free once its finished. noone else will have one except for a oddfan.
