Haha, I didn't know how to spell a Scottish accent... Anyway.
I'm off to Scotland for a few days to see stay with some random relatives I don't know. Can I hear a 'Hooray'? So I shall be seeing you all on Monday.
Well done to whoever becomes the OT mod [although I'm sure I shall post a belated congratulations in the thread made in honour of the new staff-member] and don't have to much fun without me.
I think he meant by reputation rather than personal experience. But he's correct; 7/10 bagpipers go deaf in at least on ear within the first five years of playing*. But it's only after that time that they can be regarded as an expert player. Which explains a lot.
