Gabbit thread

Okay, I was looking around and found this.
I was wondering if any of you knew if these where a bunch of original plans for the Gabbit species, or just some drawing made for fun?

I know this question will be answered very soon, so we can later on use this thread for questions about Gabbits, or just anything you have to say about them.

From how similar they are to the final Munch design, they are probably early concept designs for Munch.

Gabbits are pretty good, if cooked properly. Grilling is the best way to cook 'em, but the key is to find the right kinds of maranades and seasonings.

Cullen that Image is OK to post since it was released by OWI themself to promote the book.

andmunch wasn't supposed to look like that, Farzad was just trying some ideas

I'm quite sure yes, since it's obviously not scanned from the book.
you can't scan a book perfectly without any mess up between 2 pages

I always thought that was the funniest page in the book; particularly the design where Munch's eyes are inside his mouth.

Yeah, it is pretty funny. I like the Gabbit that looks like a toilet because of his mouth. The picture in the middle bottom.

My point was; funny or not, you've said the tasty gabbiar thing many times and it is getting rather old. Which is saying something as it was fairly prehistoric even the first time you said it.

I must say, some of those designs are pretty cool. I'm even planning on using one as a Gabbit subspecies/variant in a future fic of mine (That is if my first is ever done). The 'toilet' one I call a Bullfrog Gabbit. The top left one I think of as an Angler Gabbit (as in Angler fish). The one above the bottom left I call a Hammerhead Gabbit. Not very original I know, and its the first time I've seen the latter 2 so they're on the spot names, but meh. I think it's surprising how different Gabbits are now compared to some of those designs. Some of them don't seem fish-like/amphibious, they just seem Odd. More suiting to some sort of land animal. And one of those concepts definitely remins me of a Kinto.

Well, I guess that the other designs weren't as cute as the one they picked but it was something...I like the toilet one though, and the others were just plain creepy.

And scrab queen, I don't ever read the date. You're not alone =)
Maybe it's a useful habit I should pick up.

And I trust I'm not reviving anything old, because this was at the top?

Soon this all about gabbits and the misturned misfits. I was determined to say that all the Gabbits in the world. Could there be a chance that there are disfigured gabbits.

With all the industrial substances from the glukkon factory surely the pollution can create a three eyed gabbit.

Or is that the ma' spa is so clean this doesnt happen.
