I'm 99.9% sure that they will never release ANY Oddworld game for the PSP.

AO and AE could be nice for the PSP, but I'm afraid the screen would be a bit small (I played a bit with a PSP and couldn't help but notice there weren't much details visible)

and I'm not sure making a game specially for the psp would be one of OWI's priorities.
even if I see no reason to claim OWI won't make it, I'm not realy sure this is coming.

I think it is a high possibility if oddworld adventure was a great hit!! but it was not.
If you did buy it then i ask why? Sony only rerelease old games.

In which i dispise very much. not only buy games for ps2 then i rebuy all my games for psp. the games cost 40 buck a piece

By which you're missing the point... AO and AE are both old playstation games that could be ported reasonably easily. I'd say it has more to do with the limited market for 2d side-scrollers, OWI's willingness to rerelease the old games and, most importantly, who has the publishing rights - which I believe are still floating in the aether.

Lorne and Sherry actually purchased all of the rights to their games about a year ago. I still doubt they wil do this, however.

No, they repurchased the the stock in OWI that Microsoft owned. As far as I know the rights still lie with GT (who has gone bust).

It would be wonderful if they did, but as you probably know, Lorne's left the game scen and is making a feature film. I thought of that idea one time also. I guess we can only dream...

Hmmm, I could have sworn that they got all of the publishing rights as well. Oh, well. I've been wrong before. Once. When I was really tired.

If they still had the rights to the games, then Lorne could liscence another company to port the games in the same way he would to create new ones. The biggest and most important contraint to consider is probably that Lorne always looks forward to new and bigger ideas instead of revisiting past, smaller ones.
