Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus "NT not supported" Fix

NOTE! Due to the TigNeor website being taken offline permanently the fix is not downloadable via the provided link anymore. I will try to have it back up soon enough however.

I almost threw out my copy of AE becouse I couldn't play it anymore. Before I found this little thing that fixes it right up.

For those who don't know what I'm talking about; Some of us in Europe have problems with starting up the game. We get an error saying: NT not supported. Apparently that only seems to be the case with the PAL version of the game tho.

Gah! The zip thing downloaded but wouldn't open. It repeatedly informed me that the "zip folder is invalid or corrupted". I downloaded it 4 times in three different locations and still no difference!
Havoc, if i get this thing to work I will build a small fort in your honour. But it's looking unlikely!

What do you use to unzip the file? Winzip, winrar? I use winzip and it works fine here. :S

Just out of interest: Is this the same general idea as Oddipus' fix some years ago (which basically included a .exe that made it all work)?
The one available at his website made my year, the year I downloaded it. Which was last year.

i hope they fix really soon the damage done by those hackers(and recover the lost posts) because i am too bored to write again what the problem with this exe is.but i have an idea thay could work (or could just suck).since the american version of this game works on windows xp (or so i have heard),why doesnt anyone try to use the american exe?if anyone would be interested in helping me test this idea,please do send the working exe at leonidasnoutsis[at]gmail.com .unless i was lied to and the american version has the same problems
