I loved stranger

I absolutely love oddworld: stranger's wrath. It was an amazingly cinematic game that kept me playing to the wee hrs of the night. I totally love the characters. Maybe my only gripe is the stupid voices used with the natives (didnt like that). I loved the quotes, i loved the way the game was divided into chapters. I was amazed by all the parallels and analogies in the story with real life. I was very pleased with the way the game got rid of dead characters. They burn away instead of disaperaing. I liked the way the baddies sunk to bottom of water instead of disappearing like in MO. not that it actually means anything but i give stranger a 10 out of 10.

Yeah, it's really cool how dead baddies burn away. And how stingbees and zapflies stay where they are fired. I have fun 'marking' the villagers and natives by firing a uncharged zapfly on their foreheads.
I once threw three fuzzles on a wall in New Yolk city, and there they were, never dissappeared.
I wouldn't give a total 10, but a really good anyway.
But I still have way to go, I'm at the wolvark docks now. :>

The native voices were my favorite in the entire game. With all their 'dudes' and 'mans' at the end of the sentences... They're so funny! Well, to each his own I guess.

No, I agree as well, it's just that their voices were kinda hard to make out most of the time, but it sounded really funny when they made sense. "You must go down to where the waterfall is and make a journey through... well some pretty tough stuff man, it's really hard man." or something to that effect

I third that, I loved the grubbs.
"Your ancestors would be proud if you could..you know..kick his ass or something." Is my favorite line ever! I have heard from other gamers that this game was dissapointing and I can't figure out why that is. I guess us Oddworlders will have to stick together.

I must agree, Grubbs are the great. They kinda remind me of....Mudokons. Yet, Grubbs are a little cooler.

I didn't mind the voices, i thought they were quite fiiting, and really amusing. However i felt that there could have been more variations for each species, all the grubbs sounded too alike, as well as the clackerz. Also the sound quality of the voices could have been a little crisper.

grubb dialogue was brilliant, with their trailing off and not really knowing what they're talking about.

"Oh no, not Last Legs! That's like our last city, hangout, well, kinda more like a village really, but yeah!"

That's my single favorite line in OSW.

Why do they call it Last Legs? What's the meaning? I thought it was just the level called Last Legs because of Stranger's Last legs that turned up.

In forest level, they got the "croaking" noise from AO (the first ever oddworld sound heard) in the background. Neat.

Oddish, I'm guessing it was called Last Legs because it was the last leg in the journey between the Grubb village and Secto's Dam. I think it was based on the progression of the game rather than some ancient Grubb history.

Last Legs is the name of the town of the Grubbs. Period.

I like the Grubbs voices, but I didn't like the Clakkerz voices. They sounded a lot like JoeCartoons voices...

It would be kinda strange if a group of grubbs would live in a town which is called after strangers legs...

The Grubbs named (or perhaps renamed) it Last Legs because that's exactly what it is. It's their final stronghold against Sekto's Wolvark forces.

He seems pretty strong and able to me. The stuff I said above is actually said by a Grubb in the game, though.

Here's why I loved Stranger:

It let ME make decisions on how I should approach enemies and let ME have non-linear approaches.

And secondly the character design and personality of Stranger pretty much made the game for me anyway.
