Stranger's boat

Oh so very long ago
about a year ago
we were talking about Stranger (we called him Steef then) having a talking boat or something.

Was that actulley in the game or were we wrong?

Interesting how EGM [kind of] got it right, when we were all thinking that it was just another rumor. Maybe we should trust EGM in the future.

Oh god, I remeber those days. I completely outlawed it as a possibility of an Oddworld game. Those days were so funnee. Well, Xav, how long did you know of this game, or are you just phsycic..?

I was kind of disapointed with the boat. I didn't think the automatic gun was suited, and the boat's controls seemed a bit rushed. Not to mention I didn't travel a lot in it. But, it was still enjoyable to see it retained from the initial rumoured storyline.

I loved the control and motion of the boat, especially how you can still paddle slowly when in 1st person. The design of it is simply wonderful, and I regret criticising the early designs so. The quick-fire weapon seems a bit odd for Grubb technology, but I'm willing to let that pass. Alf's Rehab and Tea has a sign rivalling any made by the Magog Sign Company.

I remember reading that artical. Perhaps the reason they didn't have it be a TALKING boat was because Zelda: Wind Waker came out with it's OWN Talking Boat: The King of Red Lions ^^

I bet it woulda been awesome to have the boat talk. I bet it woulda been like a Chipunk, only in boat form!
