How Many More Games

How many games do you think OWI will make before getting back to Abe and Munch hopfully soon. Stranger doesn't look all that good to me im not a fan of first person shoters also I liked the way AO and AE's game style was. I will still play stranger but its kind of a let down for me.

I think they might make Stranger's sequal before getting back to the quintology. It could be even more games, but I have no idea! I'm really looking forward to Stranger though because it looks really innovative. I just hope it doesn't end up like Munch's Oddysee. I thought that Munch was a pretty good game, but some others didn't :/

I agree with odd chick.

I'd love to see Oddworld develop the Stranger series more, and I wouldn't mind another two games from Oddworld in the Stranger series. Maybe Oddworld will be able to finally produce a game a year like they've intended to do for so long. Although, the Xbox 2 is rumoured to be released next Christmas. Which enivitably means a swift swap to the new system - and more production time.

I think a lot will have to do with how popular Stranger is. If the game sells well, then a sequel will definately occur. If the game suffers poor sales, then they will likely go back to the quintology again. I personally think that Stranger will do well though, as the FPS element will attract a lot of gamers who may not previously look at Oddworld games. So hopefully this will result in a sequel being produced.

I can only tell that AFTER I played Stranger. If it's good, then sequels are welcome. If the quintology games atract(ed) me more, then a single Stranger game might be enough.

according to OWI there are lots of ways to play the game

Well the next genaration consoles are sure to be a better and more powerful machines, which means oddworld game will be more big, and might produce something like Slig Barrack in 3D. I have that feeling that OWI have saving there ideas for Stranger II, Stranger's Wrath is like the intro to the series of Stranger games.

I heard somewhere that their will be 3 Stranger games, a trilogy of Stranger.

Do you know exactly where you heard that from? Because it'd be good news to report on

It does seem like Oddworld Inhabitants might be hording ideas for the next Stranger, but I'm more interested in what the key gameplay feature will be. In Stranger's Wrath, it is Live Ammo. How will Oddworld Inhabitants spice up the next game? Anyone's guess, but I know it'll be good and inventive

Well we might be back to the Quintology quicker than we think, from what I've read people that have been designing for the PS3 say that it is a huge leap when it comes to graphical capabilities. If so then just image what the next Xbox can do...

The PS3 could be more powerful than the next Xbox though. I hope the next Oddworld games won't be exclusive to the Xbox 2 (or whatever it's called).
It would probably be the only reason I'd buy it.

I would find it preferable, if they switch back and forth. First Stranger, then a return to the Quintology, then a switch back to Stranger, then yet another return to the aforementioned Quintology, etc.
