hey has anyone got it. i live in the uk n it aint out yet. any us people got? if so whats it like? i saw the web pg it said thrs charges 4 it now! thats lame.

Please no, it's terrible. Don't get it. I had it for 2 days. It's the worst MMORPG ever. Don't waste your money there.

I will not buy it. I like Star Wars, but you have to pay for the game every month. I don't like that...

But I would be a Rodian if I have the game.

yeah i saw the monthly charges. how can they do that. i reckon theyll lose money cause no1 will wanna pay! id be mon calamari to.

It's quite common for MMORPGs (as opposed to just an online game like Diablo 2) to charge monthly fees. I don't really know a lot about them, other than what I've read on FFXI, but I think it's something to do with how the genre is more complex than just a starndard online game.

I recommend if you can spare the money for monthly fees to buy it. Its one of the best MMORPG out there right now. Almost all my friends have it and are addicted to it. I myself am waiting until Christmas to get it. In january the Space patch will be out and you will be able to purchase starships and get personal fighters and have space battles etc. Or use your ship to go to another one of the 12 planets. (Rather than pay like you have to right now to get a shuttle there).

If you dont have the time or patience to become better at the game or get into it, etc. Than you definately wont be able to handle this one or keep up with the game, or enjoy it.

I will still recommend it highly though.

There is talk of Star Wars Galaxies coming to the Xbox for Xbox Live. Xbox Live is free for a year, then you're charged a monthly bill I believe. If SWG comes to the Xbox, I hope the extra fee is going to be waived and you'll just be charged the original Xbox fee. That would be the only way I would buy SWG. If they do charge you extra, I'm not going to waist my hard earned moolah on it. I mean, come on...George Lucas is extremely rich and he is still greedy! Did you know that he would not let theatures carry SWE1 unless he got the connsession stand earnings? George used to be cool, but is now a very greedy man.

No, Xbox Live is a yearly fee. Its fifty dollars a year. When you buy the starter kit, which includes the starter disc, and headset, that is fifty dollars. So you are not charged until the next year when it will automatically renew your live subscription. I dont know how Galaxies' fee would work on Xbox though.

And about George, that whole thing with the connsession stand earnings was a big rumor that was proved untrue I believe. Yes he is really rich, but in this case the money mainly goes to Sony online entertainment, to help keep the servers running for swg. The profits off the game go to lucasarts, but the monthly fees are payed up to SOE. Hope that clears things up in this case.

hey ps2 fan here! its gonna come out on that to. any of u got a ps2 with ethernet! hasnt really shot of to a good start in the uk. it cool though! me n ferill went to ps2 experience. its a big show thing. its cool it had all the games still in testing.
ps any1 a big MGS fan? i got a cool trailer for free!
