This is one of the advantages the Xbox has over the PS2. The Xbox allows for more characters to be on the screen at one time than the PS2 did.
We will probably be seeing a lot more screens like this one where we see a bunch of different or maybe the same characters on the screen at once. This gives to more interesting and challenging game play.

i really like the fact that you can have so many characters on screen.
i tried playing abes exoduss once and when there was more then two characters on screen it slooooowed waaaaay doooowwwn.
