The Habitales & The Fearietales

OK, lasnight I was looking at the box that AE (PCversion) came in and on the top (where U open it) it said "Whats a habitales? how about a fearietales? more inside" so I looked at the Instruction manuel and I saw that the Instructions for the PC had 2 x-tra pages than that of PSX. On Page 50-51 on top of a background of soulstorm brewery it reads:
"Ongoing projects in conceptual development at Oddworld Inhabitants are two new series of future interactive genres. The Habitales series allows users to experience days in the life of many of the creatures of Oddworld as they struggle for survival and balance in their natural environments. No guns, no points, no timers, no saving the world. Just keep your own arse and offspring in one piece to live and propagate in an on-growing, simulated, onwardly evolving virtual habitat. The Fearietales series bops you beyond the mortal realm and tunes in live with the fashionably dead. This massive mystery series raises the interactive world to a whole new level of deeply desturbing entertainment. No blood, no guts, just grass roots spiritual and psychological horror from the other side. Not for the weak hearted. Watch for futher developments!"

Has anyone else read this or know what this is , is it two future games that were put on hold or stop totaly, or mabey just future game play for up coming games tell me what U think and anything U know about The Habitales & The Fearietales searies!

the Habitales is now known as Hand of Odd, an online multiplayer game...and i can't remeber what Fearietales is...

The Hand of Odd is just the first in a series of Habitales games.

Because in the instructions taht comes with the PC version it has two x-tra pages containg info on this, READ FIRST POST

I did read the first post, I was just saying that the fearitales thing sound interesting, I wounder why it wasn't in the Playstation maunel?

oh ok, I think because the PC version was mad later so as they put the munch stuff in they might have decided ti put in about the hand of odd

Yes, it's on the XBox. The next four Oddworld games have to be, by contract.

You don't have to play online, but Oddworld is hoping to pitch you against 31 other players at one time.

so HoO is about personal lives? i thought it was an RTS game. *frowns* if it's meant to be realistic environment why do they split you into two sides, things are never that clear-cut in real life...

Ah, no: three sides. Although it's not certain what those three sides are yet. I'd guess Mudokons, Gabbits and Industrialists; Natives, Glukkons and Vykkers; or Natives, Wildlife and Industrialists.

Yo Max,
There is gonna be two sides. The Wildlife and Natives are goona ally up on the Industral due to there looking for the same goals.
