Oddworld Spirts of the ancient wildlife of Oddworld.

You know what would be interesting? Actually seeing ancient spirts of wild life that have been extinct for many years on Oddworld. Like Abe and company have to free the spirts of ancient wild animals to optain some kind of new power. That would be really cool to see in part of the story of the quintology. Sort of like how Abe had to free his ancestrial spirts from Necrum. The same would be for the long lost wild life that once flurished Mudos.


Maybe there would be some sort of waist land in which the Magog slaughtered most of the already extinct wildlife, and this waist land would be the place it all happen. So maybe the heroes have to ease the pain of the ancient wildlife spirts that would hunt many isolated locations on Mudos. What do you think? Just another idea for a quintology plot.

I'm not shure we will see that in a next quintology game since it is planned to go more and more to the industrial region and thuss less the spiritual ones, but it can be intresting in a non quintology game (wich can still happen)

The idea of getting powers is fine. Fact that the powers come from extinct creatures is ok too. But I feel that the 'rescue spirits thing' is allready used. I would rather see another way of obtaining the powers. (Don't ask me how, I'm no game designer )

I'm guessing that new powers would be gained via stolen technology from the way the quintology is headed.

Maybe the spirits would aid/help you accomplish something during part of the game, but I think a whole game centered around the spirits again would destroy some of the originality which OI is known for.
