Ad-Aware 6.0 Problem

I have this porn pop-up that keeps poping up on me when I am online.I have AOL, and a SPAM robot sent me this porn pop-up.I installed Ad-Aware 6.0, it scanned my PC, and the porn pop-up (registry key) was on the scan results.I delete them, but when I come online again,it pops up again. And today,I woke up,went on my PC,and I saw on my desktop, there we're these Casino,Travel, etc. And I didn't even install them.

I scanned my PC,and these are the results, the ones with the star next to them have a different icon, and the ones with an F next to them is a folder:

I delete all of these, but they come back. Can someone help me with this?

Are you deleting them? (i.e. Selecting the checkbox next to them)

Try getting the latest Ad-Aware Patches, running a virus scan and investing in a decent firewall. Then, if it still happens after that, you have reason to worry

For a filewall you can find a copy of Zone alarm if they're still distributing it for free, Ad-Aware patches I'm not sure in Ad-Aware there is an option to search for patches so go look for that.

*tuts* Someone's been looking at not-nice stuff on your computer. But anyways, chap, I think your problem is the cool web search. Those things are nasty. It may or may not be what's reinstalling the stuff, but I've had the unpleasantries of getting one. Constant homepage resetting, added favorites, didn't get pop ups from mine, but then again there's quite a few versions of the CWS Hijacks and affiliates.

Shit. The page where the CWS Shredder program is seems to be down. I have the zip file on my other computer, though, so when I get to use that I can probably email it to you. Just send me a pm or something with your email so I now who to send it to. For anything I can't help you with, just wait until a more knowledgable computer person runs along, or go ask on a real tech-board.

G'day, now.

I was thinking about calling a PC guy to fix this, but I think that will do no good.

No, the SPAM robot sent it to me.When I'm online, this "Preparing For Plug-In" pop up appears and my microsoft internet explorer pops up with a porn registry on it.And then it goesin my C:, on my desk top,and start menu, then it puts porn websites on my favorites. Then I have to do the usual thing, delete, delete, delete.Sometimes I just leave it there because I know it will eventually come back when I'm on the internet.I've had this for about 2 whole frikken months and I still can find no way to delete this adult content crap.

Ah, ok. I was just saying thatbecuase most of the time, porn pop ups and installations are usually a result of visiting a porn site at some point anyways.

Anyways, I assume the CWS thing comes back up everytime you reboot. So CWS Shredder can help alot if you can get it.
