Wired The OWF Christmas Tree!

'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the forums
Not a Mud was stirring, not even a Rat;
The stockings were hung by Necrum with care,
In hopes that St. Paramite soon would be there;

The newbies were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of scrabs danced in their heads;
And Sam in her 'kerchief, and Abe in his cap,
Had just settled down for a long winter's nap,

When out in GD there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a fleech,
Tore open the shutters and threw up the Meeps.

The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow
Gave the lustre of mid-day to objects below,
When, what to my wondering yellow eyes should appear,
But a miniature Mine car, and eight tiny Slurgdeer,

He sprang to his Mine Car, to his team gave a squeek,
And away they all flew like the fuz of a meep.
But I heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight,
"HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO ALL, AND TO ALL AN ODD-NIGHT!"

Yes my fellow forumers I am Santa Paramite ready to deliver ZEE gifts to you on Christmas Eve night. So be sure to check back here for a special odd gift from me in the form of an attachment with your name personally on it. Because I wish everyone on here a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Lets just say it will be a nice virtual gift. Merry Christmas!

Well if you are going to be delivering these "gifts" and they might be artwork, I would like a Very nice drawing in the colored pencil medium, etc. I still think there is a picture somewhere of my Avatar that is enlarged, and thats the one I would like. When he talks for M.O.M.

Thats only if you are even doing artwork for these gifts.

Nice job trimming the tree.

Meaning how you got it to just be alone and trimmed it off either a white background or from some photo.

How kind of you PA! Are you doing this thing alone, or do you have little helpers?

Can you go into any more details on this PA? Or are you remaining silent like OWI is.

Of course on Christmas Eve most of you if not all will have a little something from me. Sorta like candy but for your eyes to see! since I have a week and a half they will be small not too detaled but look for something little just for you guys to have to print out so you can keep it. I thought this would be a neat idea and if it works we can actually do something like this and have a yearly virtual gift exchange. Just look here on Christmas day and there will be a lot of attachments for each of you to find and print out. Now I just thought of this concept like today so that means I have some work to do. This year I am going to give gifts to the most active members of our comunity. We have 1000's of members so it would be impossible to do all but trust me I recongnise all the people who contribute to this community every day. If you have doubts because you been out for awhile don't worry you will find a gift. Just be paitient it will come. So if you dident get anything on Christmas Day no sweat you will get your gift as soon as possible. remember Paramite Santa is a busy man so for this year time is of the essence so be a little paitient. I am working on getting your gift together. Most likely it will be art of some type. And Al fully noted lets just say I am keeping my surprises secret. Thanks guys

Paramiteabe...

P.S Poor me I was trying to find a Christmas tree but I couldn't thanks Grig thats a perfect tree.

Gosh, PA you must have spent a lot of time working on that poem. I'm sure we all appreciate it

I've also brightened the Christmas Tree up, just a little for eye candy. Nothing overboard.

I hope you kids don't mind that I added a few ornaments to the tree to give it a more Oddworldish look. Feel free to add more if you like anyone.

I love Christmas!

We should make this an even. The person who starts the thread adds a tree to it, and the next person who posts has to add something to that tree and repost it. Then the next person has to do something to the altered tree and so on...

At the end we'd be left with a little chrismas tree we could perhaps add to the forum banner for the last couple weeks of chrismas...

That would be fun as hell!

Thats an awesome idea. The tree would then have something contributed by all of us here, and make it a lot more special.

Yeah, we should have a vote on whether to do this or not in the FS&H forum. I really think this year would be an excellent year to start!

I like the idea! I was actually thinking of it myself. Grig provided the tree, Alcar added the snow and sparkles.......and that's when the idea came to me. I added a few ornaments and thought others could continue to add to the OWF Christmas tree until it was done. Then we could display it on the homepage like Death said. Awesome!

Of course it will. The idea will be each person will recieve something different. Now remember Its not going to be a huge gift because I have a week and a half and this is something I came up with the other day. Its not like I had months to prepare. Its going to be something simple like virtual card or something. It will have to be something I would need to whip up within a half hour. If I play my cards right I can do three gifts a day all the way up until Christmas eve.

Think Christmas cards and you can understand. I was inspired on how OWI sends out Christmas cards to us every year. I thought why not do the same only instead each gift is different.

Even though I added the tree, I still added some ornaments to it anyway...

And to Lucipher, if you have picture editing software, just save the updated pic to your PC, and edit it as you like on your program... Then you can atatch it to your post...

You guys are going to love this I can say they will be Oddworld related and well fan related aswell. Now I can assure all of you will have a little something from me with your name on it because I now got everything worked out.

MARRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY AND HAPPY NEW YEAR! For Christmas has finally come and my promise is fullfilled to you all. Ive dicided everybody deserves this gift and for the time I had to do this gift everyone gets the same gift personally from me to you! It was kind of difficult to do everybody different gifts so everybody gets the same gift.

Enjoy my gift to you as a small greeting card. The idea here is to print my gift out and simply keep it. Thats the whole idea for this year.

So for this year everyone gather around the one gift that keeps on giveing not to mention keeps on being odd in its nature. For next year will be even better for I Paramite Santa shall give everyone seperate gifts when the time comes. But for now and for this year enjoy my one gift to you all and Marry Christmas to all and to all an Odd night! HoHoHo Marry Christmas!

I really like it. I think you made the better choice of just making a gift for the forums, especially since there so many different people here you would have to make a gift for in a short amount of time.

Anyways, thanks again. And a Merry Christmas to you.
