if i were American i would be. With Bush always f***ing with other countries because he is bored who wouldnt be. I was speaking to a friend in America, and i've seen his gun collection, they include 5.56 rifles (military rifles) and powerful shotguns. Its amazing that he could only get that stuff in America, if someone over here in the UK had so much guns, SAS would be at him before he knows it.

so yeah, Americans are scared, they have terrible gun laws and are definetley gonna be the starters of WW3 (i hope to God there will never be one)

thats my two cents...

EDIT: ah, found the pics.

thats a typical American gun collectors collection...

You know what the problem is nowadays. A lot of people are not being rational. You can't reason with these people who think we are Nazis or scared or what ever. You just can't simply reason with people who oppose us so they are not being rational. So what happens? We get all these myths about us which is absolutely incredible.

I for one am not scared, only disgusted.

Of course, America is a scary place. However, I find that a lot of foreigners are quick to pass judgement. If you haven't lived here, than you really have no idea...

I dislike it when people judge others on a stereotypical stereotype. And thus i am not going to judge the Americans as stupid until i have proof...

Sometimes us americans do get stereotypical feelings from other countries. I have an internet buddy from Scotland who came down to america a while back, and he said america was nothing like how it was portrayed in his country. He thought it was so amazing to have the drive-thru person tell him to have a nice day. Service with a smile isn't all that common in Scotland I hear.

Theres an opinion I totally agree with. Im totally disgusted with this president. I mean Clinton did some stupid stuff behind closed doors. But his actual policies, etc were a lot better than the moron we have in office right now. And atleast his goal was peace, and keeping it. Instead of putting our face in places where it shouldnt be, and starting wars to make daddy proud.

I personally think we have no business in the middle east, or Israel. Let them settle the conflict, or let other nations stand up to the challenge.

I didn't support the war at all, and we're still over there and we haven't found WMD's and all sorts of problems are going on. Bush said we needed to go over there because Iraq was threat to 'nashinal sucyeritay!' Yet, we haven't found that threat he was talking about. No doubt, Saddam was a horrible person to his people, but what Bush did put a whole bunch of enemies on our list and that is not good. Something bad is going to happen to america someday.

I completely agree. I didnt support the war for many reasons. I also thought many things were strange about the whole timing for this war. Bush hadnt even finished with our campaign in Afghanistan, and he was allready starting another war, with the simple notion saying "They have weapons of Mass Destruction." What really angers me is how he got away with using false information, and manufactured evidence to say we had every right to take out Saddam.

I also agree, Saddam is an evil man, and was a tyrant. But there are certain qualities that seem to also show and reflect our own president's behavior, and way he handles things. Maybe a bit milder, but lets face it Bush is a complete War Monger. Which is a whole other story

Yeah, I think Bush had a whole other agenda when he sent our troops to Iraq. It was called "Operation: Iraqi Freedom," but the very first thing troops did when they went to Iraq was sieze the oil tanks. Hmmmm?

Another valid point. It may border on the level of conspiracy. But there are too many little things that dont add up. If we were there to liberate Iraq why didnt we do that 11 years ago in the first Gulf War? Why didnt we take out Saddam then, when we had a lot more support than this simple so called "Coalition" of just basically the United States and Great Britain?

Of course there are other reasons, but its so obvious that Bush is after more than just freeing the people of Iraq.

I might have had another opinion at this time if all the evidence provided to start this war was true, but when there hasnt been a single weapon of mass destruction (still a relief) whether or not the Iraqi military hid them, or not. Starting a war with false information is totally wrong in my books.

Actually, just yesterday in the suburb directly next to my own a drunken brawl involving two men with guns broke out. Up to thirty bullets were shot, but none hit anyone - just the surrounding cars in the parking lot and a pizza shop

A little too close to home if you ask me.

I am currently reading 'Stupid White Men' written by Michael Moore, who also made 'Bowling for Columbine'. I would recommend reading it if you would like to know every other dirty trick, and stupid thing Bush has done. I will scan some excerpts up later.

Yeah the same thing happened recently where my brother is attending a very nice Music Conservatory. Its a really nice area of Columbus Ohio, and such, but down towards the areas that are not so good, there have been shootings taking place, and its been a little too close for comfort, for him and the other students Im sure.

Brilliant film, Bowling for Columbine. Portrayed just how bad George Bush and the like are. Oh yeah, and giving you a free gun when you take out a bank account? George Bush is indeed a stupid f**k, but atleast he supplies entertainment for us British on such brilliant shows as Dead Ringers and 2D TV.

Amen.

And you're disproving the old stereotype of the English being stuck-up, bitter bastards how? Lay off the Merkans, Jacob... we're such an easy target. Besides, most of us are decent people. Some of us. A few of us. Shut up.

Anywho, I don't believe that Bush knew what he was getting into when he decided to finish what his father had started. It was a shameless attempt to improve his approval ratings, which, as we all know, failed miserably. He can't even handle one economy; what the hell was he thinking when he decided to juggle two?

Even though gas prices are still lower than they are in Great Britain (I think...), doesn't it seem odd that American gas prices have been gradually escalating? I mean, America has... erm... "acquired" some new oil fields in Iraq, so doesn't more oil constitute lower prices? Apparently not. I hate to wave around the soiled flag of "conspiracy theory," but the money has to be going somewhere... wink wink.
