Drunk whats up

whats up with MO. i mean AO and AE they werent puzzley games but now im playing MO i noticed at about the 23rd level (heh heh) that every single thing you do is puzzleing. all the first levels werent puzzle levels. Do the creators mean to do it like this or do they just change their style half way through games for no single reason? Well im puzzled *wink wink*

I always considered OW a puzzle solving type of game, but that's just me. What is it about this level that puzzles you? Maybe I can help.

not about the level the whole game! it just changes from wander around to a puzzle solving duck hunting season and one other thing. How do you get your sig to appear?

The levels in MO weren't really big enough to just wander around. The paths are set with missions to complete and helpless creatures to save. I thought the whole game was puzzle solvy.

For instance....Brewery to Be. You have to round up all the Scrabs with Munch and lock them up so you can get access to the micro brewery, so in turn you can get the gluks moolah that opens the gate with all the mudokons in it so you can save them. Whew! Doesn't that sound puzzle solving to you? Doesn't sound like wandering to me.

You are kidding, right? Tell me you're kidding...

I didn't think the puzzles in MO were particularly compelling, like the ones in the Abe games, but they were okay. Most games have a natural curve to the difficulty level, the action and puzzles getting harder as the game progresses. Perhaps what you're detecting is just the sudden step up from the Executive Office to the Loading Bay.

The Loading Bay level is the only level where you actually have to pay attention to the movement patterns of guards and enemies, another thing was both vital to completing the Abe games, and also used to hype up Munch's Oddysee. Even then, when you realise that there are shadows all around the edge of the Bay, you can almost be as clumbsy as you like.

That's Labour Egg Storage, the level after the Loading Bay.

As Max said, I did find AO/AE more of a challenge than MO.

I don't think there is too much puzzle in MO.
Where are the puzzles from MO?? Did they just flew away or something??

I wouldn't call dropping the eggs into the Loading Chute a puzzle - more a challenge that tests your patience. Like carrying each individual Mudokon across the first Sloghut or having to collect enough Spooce in the first few levels.
