I've been hearin a lot about Oddworld's big message, that Oddworld is the same as Earth and the big mean Glukkons are doin the same as what today's govts are doin to Earth, and I find it very nice of them to think about that., and all that is true: we ARE destroyin our planet, but then: WHY THE HELL DID THEY SELL EXCLUSIVITY TO MICROSOFT!!!! It shouldn't be!!!!!!!!! I'm ABSOLUTELY PISSED!!
Y? Did they hav no choice? Did they think nobody was gonna buy any other platform?
How the **** do they wanna give the big message to PS2 players, or GameCube players?
That's basically it. If u work for OI and wanna justify, do so, cuz I don't get it...

there is no mesages in their games against some organisations like microsoft....
plus the Xbox is better designed for their games

hopefully FOR THE LAST FREAKING TIME! OWI did not "sell out" to XBox. The reason they are developing for it is because it is the only system able to support what they want to do with their games. They weren't paid to develope only for Microsoft.

Woah, calm it down, friend. Re-reading your post, I think you're trying to find out why Oddworld Inhabitants chose to sell MO to only a fraction of the gaming community.

And yet you make no complaint about AO and AE not being on N64 or whatever. What exactly do you want justified?

As the people at OWI would say "GET OVER IT!" To me it seems you are really disappointed that OWI moved MO to the X-Box. Well I can tell you that you won't be disappointed for much longer for I have this very very good feeling all of us are in for something big.

Sorry, what I meant was that I agreed with Xavier's first post. Microsoft is not doing anything OWI really considers wrong. But I just now realized that wasn't the point you were making.

I'm sure OWI would make their games on PC, Playstation, Gamecube, etc... if they thought the consoles would best help accomplish what they want to do in their games. But they realized that developing for XBox is simply easier and allows them to do more.

ok everyone, thx for ur posts, and I may (may) hav overreacted a bit (seriously, that remark really pissed, u ruined my day). but anyway, ur posts do answer my question, and even make me think further. Max the Mug DOES hav a point, AO and AE were only released for PSX, which is bad for other consoles, but not that bad, cuz AO being the 1st volume of the quintology, well... other console players didn't know about Oddworld, and PS players know DO know, and they'd like to know more about it and know the rest of the quintology, without having to buy another console(I personally don't have 300euros, which makes something like 260-280$, I'm not sure, I don't even have half of that)
It's like the SoulReaver series: no SoulReaver2 for Dreamcast, and that's absolutely harsh when the game ends with an irritating "to be continued..."!
If there had never been an Oddworld game on PS, but there was, and we'll hav to live with it... or get a job!
And also, sorry about the double post, I hadn't read the rules thoroughly. I'll keep that in mind.
