New Born

The Black Mudokons were hushed. The screaming of their kin giving birth had halted and all was now silent. Not even the sound of the baby could be heard. They were now situated in yet another Church. This one however was smaller, the roof was rounded and the stain glass windows were mostly intact. It was immensly spacious and only had a few seats which were elevated and at the top of 7-8 steps that lead to the Alter. The female who was giving birth was situated up on the Alter with a purple robe tied from a beam to give her some privacy. The followers waited with baited breath, wondering what the 'Oracle' would look like.

Mudokon #1: "Friends, followers...Family."

One of the two Mudokons who were with the birthing female stepped from around the concealment of the robe. He held his left hand in the air in a sign to show that he was speaking and all should listen.

Mudokon #1: "It is a great day for our kind. The chosen one has been born, the one who shall lead us to the light of victory and triumph(!)"

The Mud was very preachy and sure of himself. His eyes purple and his skin a shiny black he was like a sleek predator. He wore a black belt which kept all sorts of weaponry and gadgets in, one being the double ended dagger. Which was made from the purest of stones and capable of tearing limbs off with a quick thrash. As he was giving his speech a second Mudokon came from around the robe. This one's Black skin was alot lighter and plumes of Red feathers sprouted from its head. It gave a single nod to the first Mudokon and then stepped back, going down on one knee and bowing its head.

Mudokon #1: "I present to you...KAHN!!"

The Mudokon shouted the baby's name and then tugged hard at the purple robe, snapping the twine that held it up and allowing all to see the Mother and Baby. The Mother was a normal Mudokon apart from the fact her Breasts had Black Spirals going around them and partially down her arms. She was resting on the flint Alter facing the crowd, propped up into a sitting up position by many purple pillows. Her Baby in her arms as she cradled it in a white fabric. She blinked, her blue eyes looking up at the crowd who, in a wave like fashion, bowed down.

Mudokon #1: "Yes, yes. Cilia, pass me the child."

The female Mudokon lifted her baby up and held it out to the male. He took it gently and looked into its eyes. Its pupiless eyes. The baby had Black skin also, but clashing with its pigment was its eyes. Just white balls. Slowly the male turned the child around and raised it to arms length. The Sunlight clawing its way through the stain glass windows for what seemed like the first time, different colours brightened the baby's skin and all were in awe.
*Crash*
One of the Windows on the rounded roof shattered, glass shards got dragged down by gravity upon the group of bowing Mudokons. The Muds looked up, some getting hit by the sharp, spiteful colours. The male holding the baby backed away, closer to the wall.

Cilia: "My baby...please Koch...my baby, she needs me(!)"

The male turned his head to her, bringing the baby closer to his chest.

Koch: "Quiet. You have served your purpose, woman. We have no need for you now."

Cilia: "NO!! YOUR NOT TAKING HER, KOCH, GIVE HER BACK...SHE'S MINE...!!"

Koch smiled.

Koch: "No...no more. She is the Lords offs..."

The sound of a Reptilian bark cut through his speech, his head snapped back to face the area were his followers were. More glass was shattering and through it came the sleek, black bodies of the Reptilians.

Koch: "Kill them...do not let them disturb this victory for us!!"

The Mudokons drew their weapons, knives, rocks, spears, crossbows anything that was able to do serious damage, and began to fight. The Reptilians were bemused by this entire act and drew their weapons. Which included arrows, Tomahawks and Knives. Cilia was crying now, reaching for her child to try and protect it. She carefully yet quickly swung her legs around to the right, were Koch was and climbed to her feet.

Cilia: "KOCH...GIVE HER TO ME!! GIVE MY BABY TO ME!!"

The male growled and held the child in his right arm, tightly. Sharply he swung the left in a thrash like motion, the back of his hand colliding with Cilia's face and knocking her to the ground.

Koch: "Hush."

Reptilian Lord: "Taaake them, taaake them aaall!! Our Maaasster is coming aaand he will need aaall the strengthh he caaan gaaather(!)"

This Reptile was walking through the middle of the carnage, watching as Mudokons got their bodies slashed open, their faces torn off in a single slash of a black claw. Its Purply-Blue head trills standing on end. It was walking on its hind legs and towards Koch and the baby. Its tail trailing behind.

Reptilian Lord: "Maaake sure we haaave aaat leaaast 15 survivors. They will staaay freshhher."

It was barking orders out to its growing army as more and more flooded in through every possible entry into the Church there was. Its soft underside was more like tissue than anything. The Scales that covered the top side of the body were strong enough to withstand certain projectiles. The war cry of a desperate Mudokon rang through its ears and a Black guard ran forwards, a spear as its weapon. The Reptilian smirked and side-stepped away from the point of the weapon before punching its attacker in the side of the head, taking it down instantly. As it fell three other Reptilian soldiers moved in on it, their jaws open they sheared the flesh off the fallen troop killing him but also gathering some nutrition.

The Mudokon's eyes widened as he witnessed the Reptilian races power. A single Reptilian could take out at least four attackers before finally being felled, but a horde could rip to shreds a whole army. Koch moved to the window that was behind him, it was large, approximatly 10 by 10 foot. Why the Reptilians never came through that window first was beyond him, but it was a good job they hadn't and now he was thinking of using that as an exit. The Reptilian Lord came up the steps slowly, Cilia was too weak to speak or do anything and thus was vulnerable. Something Koch was glad of, as she would not be a pest to him no more. Turning, Koch held the child close to his chest, steadying the head and then ran towards the colourful window. Leaping through at the last minute. The glass shattered, cutting his skin but he did not care. He had to escape, keep the child alive. He landed on the leaf ridden ground, cutting his feet on some fallen glass. But he was free from the blood bath and now had to get to safety. He looked around, adrenaline pumping through his veins. Finally he took off into the forest. Dodging the obstacles that he came to. His breathing got horse and short and the baby seemed to get heavier every step taken. But his colony needed this child to live.

The Reptilian Lord came to the top of the steps, Cilia was sat up, her breathing hard and her jaw broken she looked up at the leader of the pack. The Reptile ignored her and walked on by, stepping upto the window the Mudokon had used for an exit. Turning sharply the creatures green eyes full of fury.

Reptilian Lord: "You!! You!!"

Its words were barked out of frustration and anger. His index claw pointing to two feasting soldiers, situated at the base of the steps, who looked up startled.

Reptilian Lord: "Bring them to meee!!"

The creatures nodded and darted up the steps and then bounded out of the window with amazing grace.

Cilia: "P-Pleesh. Dnt kill m..*Cough*...m-y baby."

Her speech was perpherated and partially un-understandable. Crouching down to her the Reptilian Lord stroked her face.

Reptilian Lord: "Our Lord is coming, we need aaall the meaaat aaand souls we caaan get. No exceptions."

Cilia looked at the leader softly, her blue eyes pleading more than words ever could. Opening her mouth to speak she was immediatly hushed by the claw of the Reptile, which was placed gently on her lips.

Reptilian Lord: "It will be paaainless."

It sympathised with the new mother. It, too, was serperated from its parents at birth. They were savagely murdered by Orkhids as he watched. If it wasn't for an explosion that happened right after they noticed him then it, too, could of been killed.
*Crunch*
Cilia's body flopped on its side, the neck snapped. The Reptile felt it best her Soul be released into freedom than to be captured and abused by the God that was going to obtain it. The other followers weren't going to be so lucky...

That was extremely impressive. I loved the cinematic feel of the story. Great detail was done on this story as it is so obvious. very good keep up the genius work.
