Well, you could try http://www.ebay.com/, I'm sure that someone must be selling some used copy of it... The problem with them is that you have to sign up for an account there, and instead of just buying it, you must bid on it... I don't really know any place that you can just buy older, used video games... Ebay's the closest I can thing...

Edit: 660! Yay...

These guys carry AE, and they have a lot of payment options. I know that you're in Australia, but at very least you could call them and work out how to pull it off.

CDAccess.com ordering information

I bought AE from these guys late last year or early this year. At the time, they said they had 38 in stock. They're down to 7, so move fast.

Thanks Doug,

But are you aware with the shipment fee and the game fee comes to a total of $50 u.s dollars? That doubles in Australia and it will become $100 for me to pay for, i don't think it's really worth spending that much just on game that is about $20 here, i'll continue searching here thought, but thanks anyway

I try to never pay more than $15 ($20 for an absolute must-have) for a PC game. However, having played AE, I'd probably pay US$50 for it if I knew I couldn't get it any other way.

Surfacing, keep in mind that AE came out 4 years ago. I don't know how long they keep "printing" games, but you can be sure that all copies of this game that will ever exist have already been in existence for at least 2 or 3 years. If you can't do mail order, you're going to need to scrounge places that have decent bargain bins or used games. We had a good store for that here in the US, but they've gone all console-oriented and don't devote a lot of space to older games anymore.

Maybe OWI will come out with an AO/AE "Gold pack"-type deal; there seems to be a big market for that kind of thing.

Anyway, good luck in your oddysee to find exoddus.

No. Besides, he'd be looking at the same shipping charges, etc.

You could get over it, get a life and get wasted...that'd take up time.

Why don't you stay out of it instead of polluting a perfectly cordial exchange with your petty bile and bitterness?

Maybe you should join in on the on-line hike; they're having way too much fun over there. See if you can bleed the life out of that party.

Where I come from "get over it" and "get a life" are derisive and condescending things to say to someone. I'd rather play AE than get wasted any day.

What I find even more pathetic is that Jacob needs to come here and carefully note the apparent lack of social lives at Oddworld Forums in order to feel good about himself. If he finds online forums to be so pitiful then why would he let himself be seen at one?

Jacob, why are you acting like this? You've already been banned three or four times in the past. The next time it happens there will be no more chances, no matter how much you beg us.

Oh for god's sake, stop arguing, people!

Chris: Try and learn a little tact...

Doug: Try and learn to ignore Chris when he's being an arsehole, rather than arguing with him.

I ignore him plenty, but his first post in this thread was completely inappropriate. He's never going to learn any manners if no one points out his rudeness. Although I have to admit that he seems to be completely clueless as to his antisocial behavior, so there seems little point in taking him to task. So I guess your right; I should stop banging my head against the wall.

I got mannerz, and the only time i am rude in real life is when i am bitchy and people point that out to me...closely followed by 'I love it.'

I wunt call it Anti-Social...id call it...overly truthful (No offense intended.)

He's fully aware of what he's doing, Doug. He only does it for the attention, and as long as he keeps getting it from people like you, he'll keep doing it.

People like me? I'm not exactly a troublemaker, Danny.

And if I read correctly, he just apologized.
