Now i am an oddworld fan through and through but i have a problem, i am a halo addict and damn proud of it!!! . Now i know there are many topics like this but i wanted to start one. I want to find out if you like halo, tell us what cool stuff you did in the game. Now i dont want this topic to die just like, uummm, let me think, ALL OF MY OTHER TOPICS!!! So i gonna try to keep updating it with stuff id did or friends did.
As a first post ( i dont keep track of the number of levels) but the one when your near the beach i threw a gernade in the center of a circle of grunts and elites ( that was a top play on the official xbox magazine game disk) It was hilarious
I thought Halo was very fun, though I wasn't addicted to it. But I can't think of anyone who would say they absolutely hated it. Anyone who would say that must love Kiddie games or something.
while halo's 'campaign mode' doesn't have very much replay value, multi player has provided me with countless hours of sheer glee.
There's nothing like throwing a stixky grenade on yourself, and running up to your friend, killing both of you!
or there's nothing like sticking a grenade to your friends crotch and watching him run around once he's realized what's happened...then...BOOM!

yea, halo does have online capablities. though i dont know exactly how, my bro rigged i up one time. the thing is you do somethin special to make it think your playing on LAN, then you get to play. you use like gamespy or osmethin to find servers. i might be able to have my bro type ti up or tell me or somethin how so i can tell you all, but yea you CAN play online.
This game is my favorite Xbox game yet besides MO. I thought campaign mode was pretty fun, but my nerves can't handle all of them aliens jumping out in front of you. I haven't really did anything cool in this mode. But multiplayer, WOW! Best thing I've saw yet. I've gotten on top of Sidewinder in a Ghost by jumping over a Scorpion. I think the Needler (Covenant weapon) is awsome! Hold down that right trigger, and your opponent's ass is grass
Has anyone here gotton on top of Blood Gulch? I've heard that some people on halo.bungie.org did it...

i hate that gun..the 'needles' are slow moving, and although they lock onto who or what you aimed at, they eventually disperse if you run away long enough.
i personally love the plasma pistol, because it's quick, and pretty powerful..i've taken down Hunters in two well aimed shots with me trusty plasma pistol..
and Sea Rex, hopefully Halo 2 will have online play, because man, i'd kill you SO fast!

well the halo is comeing out for PC!!! this means you can play as ether aliens or humens and this means MIllIONS of people can play online and there will be mass desturtion! hahahahah!!!! *relizes that there someting rong with self* yes i am adicted to it but i dont even have XBOX or Halo

And speaking of the Needler... it's not so bad if you've got someone covering your ass with a shotgun/plasma pistol. Just remember how potent the needles are if actually manage to stick enough in someone...

I wish i could be in the death match but just so you know you have to have a broadbrand internet connection, i got a dial up. INorder to play you need some programs. My xbox magazine tells what you need i will list all the stuff.
Once you get to the page i dont know what to do, i never went there, i got this info my magazine. Actually my magazine showed a longer adress but it dosent work but just search around that website and you should find it. I hope this helps you all out.

From what Iv'e seen Halo looks to be one of the best games of all time!
When it's released on PC I'm definately getting it.
After all Bungie made Oni and Iv'e had Oni on PC for Months now and I'm still playing it.

Can someone give me an overall description of Halo and perhaps whats good and not good about it?
Halo is a world in the shape of a ring. One of the last great soldiers of earth, the Master Cheif, finds him self marooned on the alien planet with an AI constuct guiding him. He has to put up with the Covenant, a superior alien alliance that wants to wipe out humanity. However, soon something makes it quite clear that both Covenant and humans aren't welcome on Halo...
The Good: Overall graphics, gameplay, replay value, multiplayer The Bad: Sometimes the story line is hard to follow (for me, anyway) The Ugly: The movies suck.
LOL, sorry. This was my first time using that gun, and I was playing with someone who really sucked....and yes, I figured out that when playing with someone good, I would stick with the Rocket Launcher.
This just in, I've gotten on top of Blood Gulch! Woohoo!
