Abe's Mother....

Sorry if this has been brought up before, but I recall at the end of AE something about Abe's mother, and he would find out about her when he meets Munch. Well he's met Munch, and yet nothing about his mother. Any ideas on this??

To put it simply:

Sam (Abe's Mother, and all the other Mudokons') was scrapped from MO.

Maybe she will appear in a later game, maybe ME. No one knows, we must wait and see.

I also think they cutted Sam fron MO because they are gonna put her in ME. Because if Abe had to save Sam in MO there wouldn't have any quest left for his in Me.

It was scrapped of MO because the story must be about Munch and not About Abe and his mother so it probably will apeared in ME

Actually, I think they scrapped it not so much in order to keep Munch the figurehead of the story - in fact, there seems to be a tremendous ammount of fretting that Abe played too much of a pivotal role.

However, I suppose the dysfunctional relationship between Abe and Munch could actually build up over a period of time. Like, Munch got Abe's full cooperation in MO, and later he could get upset because Abe wants his own things done.

i didin't saw any, not in abe's odysee or in abe's exoddus.
i didn't played in munch simply because i dont have a X-Box and i think this console sucks...
please answer my question because irealy confused.

what is meaning by "Queen"
does the queen laying eggs all her life like in inssects?
can you give a picture?
in addition, why all the other oddworld population are males?

Exactly, Sam is the Mudokon Queen. The Mudokons are a super speices kinda like Termites,Bees,Ants... She is the only female of her speices and at the moment she is being held hostage by the Vykkers because of her value (The Vykkers sell her children as Slave Labor). Abe was ment to have rescued the Mudokon Queen and Munch get the last can of Gabbiar in MO, but do to a tight schedule and what Max said in a preivious post she was cut and will deffenatly be in ME.

There are only male Mudokons because if there where another Mudokon female, then she to would be a queen and if there where to queens then the whole Mudokon Race would over populate all of Mudos.

What about the Gluk queen? She's mentioned several times in MO, in the newspaper bits, which, I just want to say, pale in comparison to the news broadcast segments from AE. Are we to assume that all oddworld races breed ala insect hive formations? That would seem odd,especially for fuzzles, which have mamalian hair, or Scrabs, which at least USED to be territorial creatures (A herd of scrabs!? Come on!?)

I saw a movie from MO that shows a herd of scrabs and i thought "What the hack?!? scrabs suppose to be teritirial creatures"
i think it's kinda stupid and unprofeessional for oddworld inhabitans to be not consistent don't you think?

there are only Alfa scrabs that fight (the ones in AE and AO) in MO there is only one Alfa scrab per herd so no fight!

Alfa scrab => master of the scrabs

If it's a wolf-esque hierarchy going on with Scrabs, wouldn't it be a pack, not a herd? They are predators, not prey animals. just a thought.

I always assumed that the Scrabs in AO fought each other because they lived in a Desert, where there was little food to be had, so they had to fight over what little there was... After all, the Scrab Herds I've seen have all been on Lush Plains...

I know it sounds a bit ego-centric, but I like my explanation more than OWI's... After all, Alpha Males ARE usually found in the packs...

Is it just me, or does it seem odd that Scrabs and Paramites get only one small part each in MO? It seems almost as though OWI put them in just because they knew fans would demand it.

I didn't realy played in MO allthough i read about this game and saw many movies of it.
from my impression i think the best parts of the game are the industrial one's.
the same thing i think about AE especialy because of the glukkons.(i played in abe's exoddus and finished it couple of times).
However, in AO i think the best parts was the paromonian and scarbeninan tempels.
