When cartoons on nick didn't suck

Has anyone ever watched the t.v. channel Nickelodeon? It was the BOMB! It had a bunch of kick ass shows cancelled by bigwigs to make room for the newest crap 'toon they were going to push. Pete and Pete, The Angry Beavers, Ren and Stimpy before nickelodeon hijacked it, AAAGH, Real Monsters and the standard that all 'toons shall be measured against: Rocko's modern life! Wacky deli yeah wacky deli yyeah...The chokey chicken, Peachs so many classic things Rocko gave us. I'm nausious i'm nausious. Now all of the cruddy shows like rugrats, rocket power, and catdog are shown ad nauseam. You replaced Pete and pete and Salute your shorts with As told by ginger and GAS? May you all die slow and painful deaths! Spoot on your grades, you spooty bastards! If you are wondering why you might like sponge bob it is because the talents like heffer etc. moved on to work on spongebob. You are rewarded if you pay your dues. The only two shows I like are shunted into oblivion now: Pelswick and Hey Arnold.

Nickelodeon are asswipes. I remember when they got rid of the original artists for Ren & Stimpy in an attempt to make it more "child-friendly". A cartoon that once was of pure art was destroyed, reduced to watered-down characters and plots.

I don't get Nickelodeon anyway, but we do have Cartoon Network. I wish they'd at least show repeats of the old Ren & Stimpy, but for now I'll have to settle with Scooby-Doo, the Powerpuff Girls and Birdman.

Nickelodian has turned into crap, you're right... Ren and Stimpy, Rocko's Modern Life, AAAGH, Real Monsters, so many cool things... They even had cool ways to tie in each different show. Pete and Pete seems like something I would like to watch more now, because I used to think of it as too damn weird. Invader Zim is great, it is one of the best things on there, but they cancelled it! They're trying to eliminate all things good!

Now we have Rocket Power and Spongebob as the two most popular shows. I hate these things. I wish they would be cancelled, never played again and all of the animation cells and film get burned, and the ashes buried. Rugrats used to be an ok cartoon, now its shit too... As Told by Ginger: Boring, stupid... its trying to appeal to pre-teens, young teens, but its still a load of crap. I think Pelswick is lame too... Doug was really, really, really stupid and cheesy, but it was a guilty pleasure...

Nick dream schedule: Rocko, Ren and Stimpy, AAGH, Real Monsters, Invader Zim, old episodes of Rugrats and Doug (to reminisce about), and Hey Arnold...

Cartoon Network is cool, because of Adult Swim... I have always liked older people-geared cartoons, and SGC2C and Home Movies fill that need...

luckily, i have three tapes filled with ren and stimpy (including the original first epsiode, woo!)
and one tape full of invader zim and rocko.
invader zim is the only decent thing on nick these days, it only comes on sundays now, at like one o'clock for two hours...
pete and pete, salute your shorts, rocko, and ren and stimpy were the greatest...
Syd, ren and stimpy comes on VH! everynight, or morning rather, at 12 AM..

Yeah, the 80's and earlier 90's were the good old days. It had mad gravy shows like salute your shorts, Hey Dude, my brother and me, wild and crazy kids, what would you do, rocko, doug, aaaah real monsters and the old Kenan and Kel episodes. Pete and Pete kinda stunk, so did stick stickly.

The only mad gravy shows are Spongebob, told by ginger, rugrats, and Jimmy Neutron. The rest of the shows suck especially SNICK! Snick sucks because they took out all of the original cast.

omg, I REMEMBER THAT.... but i forgot the song... i liked stick guy. i kinda like spongebob, but what everyone else is so true. the old shows kicked can, majorly. and who cares if my bro and me was only like 7 episodes, it was cool. new rugrats suck, rocket power sucks, especialy THE NEW ONES. even twister sounds stupid now, and like the tony hawk one. gr........ how i despise that stuff that aint very good.....
then like ginger those problems are lame, pelswick is oldly entertaining until it gets to the first commercial break, man teen nick is limited to scrap and like snick is done. i remember some of that rap, all that rugrats, kenan and kel... rocko, o how i love rocko.... and clarissa was ok..... catdog is really dumb now. BUM, yick i despise that. kablam should be shown more.....
and then now all nick shows have 2 commercial breaks, its dumb. odd parents are decent, the older angry beavers were cool...... anyone remember o yea cartoons? that blew up, or i wish.... man, it feels good to rant about stuff people agree on.....

An odd and long list of things about Nick. Odd that I would spend time on such a stupid and childish thing, but here it goes...

Rocko's Modern Life: By far one of the best shows every on Nick... It was so surreal and crazy, with great humour and hilarious characters... I really loved it, it was so amazing, especially for a children show. So cool... *sigh* *sings* Rocko's modern life....

Invader ZIm: Good, mature and hilarious... It was kind of watered down from Jhonen Vasquez's adult comic books, but it is still hilarious and has some of the coolest artwork on any cheap cartoon...

Ren and Stimpy: I usually hate fart/crap humour, but this was so original and odd... It had some really funny parodies, and was damn creepy sometimes. Another wildly surreal cartoon... Stimpy is god!

Doug: So stupid, and I feel really sneering and mocking when I watch it, because it is so easy to riff and make snide comments at... Still, it is entertaining because it makes me feel nostalgic...

Rugrats: Well, the older ones were ok, just mediocre cartoons, but the new ones are filth. Incredibly stupid and annoying.

My Brother and me: The hell is this? What am i missing out on? It sounds like one of the stupid live action ones, though. Nick+Live action usually=crap.

Stick Stickly: Now this is what I meant when I said cool ways to tie in the shows. He was such a great host... Heh, I remember that thing where he was trying to find his family, or something like that... Lol, Dave, you remembered the song!

Pete and Pete: I didn't like it, but I would like to see more, because what I remember was just weird enough to attract me...

AAGH, Real monsters: This was damn cool too, one of the best... it was so original for a cartoon and had those great characters... *sighs* Memories... precious, precious memories... If I remember correctly, it was released on Halloween, when they had that weird Pumpkin host...

Catdog: Load of crap, stupid and boring. I don't like this either...

Hey Arnold: Just a good cartoon.. entertaining, but nothing too great.

Spongebob: Stupid shit, i hate this worthless thing... I know, I'm being a bit hard on something meant for 7 year olds, but this is so annoying, pointless and boring! AAAAAAAGHH!!!

Rocket Power: I hate this too... I guess I'm not hip enough, but its stupid, boring and annoying. I hate this beyond words... Just... Ugh...

All That: Stupid, stupid... I hate most sketch comedy any way, other than Monty Python's Flying Circus and some of Kids in the Hall...

Rocko's Modern Life was the best cartoon ever made on Nick. I loved that show, and now it's cancelled. It had such twisted humor, it made me laugh every time. How I miss it. *tear* The new Nickolodeon is all CRAP! Everyone at my damn school talks about Spongebob, and I hate Spongebob. Another OK show is the Fairly Odd Parents. I know, it looks stupid at first, but it' better than most of the other shows by FAR! "The Crimson Chin, and his sidekick, Cleft, the Boy Chin Wonder!" Ahh yes. dude, i found this out a while back, soemone said it..... anyway i took the initiative to find out myself when i got mad one time. its on at 6:30 am eastern standard time on nick, saturdays and sundays..... but man, im wondering if i have really turned to utter hell to entertain me as i watch sheep get bounced by the booty squad in sheep in the big city right now, great way to end cartoon cartoon firday....

anyway i think the reason why they canceled those old shows was that nick is becoming more young kid and todler oriented. like, rocko and salute your shorts arent exactly what you want little kids to see today, parents would complain. and they shove the crap for us, the people who grew up loving nick, into a short teen nick on sunday evenings....... without even the shows we still love....... but we are petty and are unable to do anything, to hard to get internet patitions around specialy for alot of people on something like nicktoons.... grrr, life sucks sometimes, wait, all the time...

You know those old 1971 cartoons they show on cartoon network? Well they stink. My parents grew up with those cartoons and they did'nt even like them because they thought that they were stupid. So why show it to us?

I remember after the Filbert's kids season finale Nick showed commercials for season 3 but didn't air one bit of celluloid! Those bastards! Was RML to racy and funny for you bear drenched and bong resin coated excuses for brains! In the prime of it's life you cut it out for some show I don't even remember! I really wish you guys at nick would pull your heads out of your asses and target someone a little older than 8. Of course, why screw with a "great linup" you'd rather just play the shows into the ground, take away all creative license of the makers and hijak the show like you did with Ren and Stimpy. You screwed with angry beavers, ren and stimpy, and all of the live action shows but you will not mess up spongebob because a lot of old rocko people work on that show and I like it in a strange way. Even though it is played too much occasionally. So don't do it you idiotic CEO's and fatcats, or even little kids will realize how you had good shows and ruined them. 3 years tops before Nick butts in on succesful shows. although they aren't my cup of tea you should leave well enough alone. All That was also hijacked and made to put in stupid hacks like Leon. You are hurting yourselves in ways I just don't understand. Well, time switchs for one. Putting a good tune into viewership limbo, like three a clock in the mornng for one. Making excuses to not show a show. On nick it isn't like they don't have enough time. They have time out the wazoo. Instead of a fair representation of all shows we get such treats like" 8 hour block of rugrats!!! " and "Every rocket power ever made!" Stifling creativity, overt censorship, firing people from nick toons and replacing them with a clean man who"won't do things that are risky" I have also noticed that nick doesn't know when to make new episodes for a show or demand new materials. Instead it is all re runs and those cherished "whole day chunks of fun" that put a stranglehold on nick. Ren And Stimpy they were just the best. They used to be on normal TV ages ago but they cancelled it because they think it was too disgusting but I thought it was sooooooooo hilarious. Nothing was really disgusting about it really. All it had was a lot of mucus but it was hilarious. I used to watch it all the time with my Brother and by the end of the episode I was still laughing. I can do a great voice of Ren of the words "STIMPY YOU IDIOT."

Rockos Mordern Life was a great cartoon and same with Angry Beavers But they're all cancelled. We used to have Pay TV but we got it cut off because it had too many repeats. Does any one remember 'Sparticus' The really, really old episodes of that were so great. If you don't know what it is it's that guy with the white dog.

It happens with every Cartoon Company I think. Just look at Disney the new cartoons totally SUCK not like the old Donald Duck and the Pop eye cartoons they were soooo great. (If you didn't know I just love Donald Duck he's soo funny.)
