I can't recall which, the demo to Abe's Oddysee or Abe's Oddysee itself, but I remember seeing a door blocked off by planks that read 'Munch's Oddysee: Coming Soon' above it!

Does anyone else remember this? Maybe i'm just talking out of my arse...
If I can dig up a screenshot, I'll be sure to post it.

It was long long long time ago planed

It was in AE in the FeCoo Depot...
There was a door "to Vykkers Labs" and "Coming soon"

and at the end of AE they talcked about Munch and Sam

I think there will be some base at the ground and that the trains goes there

I think that that was some sort of Docking Port, which was why Vykkers' Labs were Coming Soon - they were on their way...

I remember hearing a rumor once that Munch was going to be a Slig...

Anyone else hear something like that?

The rumor was that after AE the next game will be whit a Slig hero (name of the game=>SligStorm)
But that was scrapped
And the game after AE is now Munch's oddysee whit a gabbit, and not whit a slig.

I always find it interesting when there are hints of future games in one of the previous games.

I tried to look up the quote on the White Slig that you guys were looking for too, but the link to April's Dear Alf goes to the March one.

how long has munch been in production? Well, since the beginning. OWI always intended there to be a five part story, as the back of the AO manual states. Many changes have come since 1995 when OWI was formed. Why, AO was originally entitled "Soulstorm." Is why Oddworld is so good, a lot of effort and time are put into it.

When you got the Perfect end you got a screen and the refer to Munch and Sam, so a lot of work to save evrybody
