Yo man all of you that answered me said that I sould get one in the U.S but my uncle said that I cant because of the differance in herts and stuff and he said that if I got one There It would not work here.
Actually I was going to answer your email on this Moodokon Man... sorry I didn't get around to answering it!
If you got a Xbox from the US all you would need is a power converter to convert US plugs/voltage to the South African standard. I got one of these when I went to the US last year, they are very inexpensive (under $10) and allowed me to plug my Australian appliances into American power.

Obsessed with J.J. Abrams!!! <3
Creator of Cloverfield, Lost, Alias and Fringe ... he's just too awesome!
But the Xbox's of different countries will possibly only run games in that particular country. Like Playstation with PAL and NTSC games. Australian Playstations cannot run American games for example. I advise you to do some heavy research before you consider getting one from over-seas.
Actually the XBOX games will be abill to run on all other XBOXs regardless of there country. At least thats what I think I heard... I suposses that there may be a difference depending on the language of the country the game was made in though...
