I think, to get rid of all these 'one-hit-wonders' and people who never post, thus freeing up space on the server and possibly helping to recover that close-knit 'community' feel this place once had, the admins should delete all accounts that remain inactive for, say, a month. Or 90 days, which a lot of account-based websites seem to choose.
The only exceptions should be if people say in advance that they're going to be leaving for a couple of months due to holidays, studies etc.

I don't think THAT is a good idea. People can leave because they just want to leave for a while, get bored of the forums (don't ask me HOW!) or something. Imagine that you haven't posted in a while and want to come back. And that you found your account deleted!!!! Urgh.

I agree that Oddworld Forums have lost the tightly-knit sense of community we once enjoyed. I think we can overcome it though.

I totally agree. When I arrived, I was member 258, (and I stil am.) and the forums were much more calm. If you leave the forums for 10 minutes and you come back, there will be a lot of new posts. Back then, you could wait for more then an half our.....
I saw the community and slowly become part of it.
Now, it's slowly dissapearing. We need to refind our community feel.
And you know ODDBODD is gone too? He left because the forums had lost their identity, he thought. (Although, he sometimes comes back. Look at the "Abe333 committed suicide" topic.)
