Welcome to the Arena! (Another Game To Pass the Time)
Between the temporary disappearance of the Oddworld RPG and the await of Munch's Oddysee, we have seen plenty of time-killing games. While playing a round of Diablo II (and having my butt kicked by Oblivion Knights), I suddenly came up with an idea for another game (with major credit going towards One, Two, Middlesboogie). The game is this:
BattleArena: Oddworld Forum
Premise: BattleArena's premise is simple - two characters are placed in a ring and you decide who is the winner in a no-holds match. In many ways it is similar to Celebrity Deathmatch, but the format is much more like that of the "A Fun Game We Can All Play!"
Rules:
- You must answer who wins the previous match.
- Then you propose the next contestants in the ring.
- The contestants may be fictional/nonfictional.
- You must tell where the character originates if he/she is a fictional character.
- The character uses any item which that person is associated with [IE - Cloud from FF7 would have his mammoth sword]
- Whoever you decide wins, you must explain why you believe that person wins
- The next player continues this cycle
Example:
>Previous Post Says: Janet Reno or Barney {Barney and Friends}<
>This post:
Janet Reno because she would have her legion of minions with her!
Cloud [FF7] or Squall [FF8]?
