Assisting JAW - Notable bugs/glitches/ things we feel need looking into.

So after browsing through the forum here, we have noted and discussed a few important things that don't sit right and feel they need some improvement.

This isn't a demand for change thread, or a "We are the bosses of JAW" shenanigan.

E.g of something that can be but shouldn't be noted in this thread:

I hate the song, it needs changing because I dont like it.

E.g of something that should be noted:

Abe clips with the UXB.

This is a thread where we essentially beta test the game from the gameplay we are about to see at E3/have seen already/and will see until its release. A constructive thread where we point out the things that we feel need looking into. The bugs, the clipping, etc.

As of right now all those great points we mention that need fixing are scattered in different threads and posts, and even some of the most crucial posts by some of you guys might be missed. So I hope this isn't out of place or over the line, but I feel a central thread we can note just the bugs specifically would be a good idea right now as the game is nearing finalization.

Also, we should also point out some things that don't need any more improvement and should just be as they are now. When I get feedback from my clients, I find this extremely helpful because it means I dont have to change it and I can let it be unless stated otherwise.

Try to have fun and keep is detailed yet simple. Thank you for reading chums :]

Some notable things:

-UXB mine clipping
pretty self explanatory. Smoother hand gestures.

-Sligs moving at too little frames per second.
The animations seem too quick and jerky. Smoother transitions from laying down and standing up and standing still to shooting.

I said I wouldn't go into OD until the game was released. I forgot why and then I saw this.

Well yeah, but if we see something they don't we should speak out right?
Logically, pointing out problems and solutions should be happening before and after the release, for our sake and theirs.

But you don't know what build they're running in each clip in each trailer, so what's the use?

Whilst I get what this thread is trying to achieve, STM is right. We have no idea what build of the game was used in the trailers. For all we know all the bugs and glitches that were in the trailer, were patched ages ago.

But still, it's a nice idea and I might possibly make JAW aware of something. The thread could be also so useful for when the game actually comes out.

This thread is an alright idea and it means well but perhaps JAW have their own beta testers that are competent at it? Maybe they don't and they might find a thread like this useful. But as the others have said the game could be at a completely different build considering how quickly they'll be changing the game at the minute so the stuff we note could have already been fixed/in the pipeline.

Also, jaw_alex is reading thread and seems to be pretty on the ball. I'm sure he notes down bugs as people mention them.

This thread was a nice idea, but I'm going to close it before people get all whiny and spammy. Moreso, I mean.
