Catholicism: Your view?

Hello all!
Since it's chirstmas time I thought I would add a little bit of religion to the place, prepares for the worst I think it's a fantastic religion because I am RC myself, the reason, because I dislike singing so I don't really care for protestantism, I also like the secretiveness of the sept and the fantastic architecture of our churches.

What do I think? Not much to be honest. Much of my family on both sides is Catholic and are still pretty open-minded about things. Western PA has a lot of Christian denominations running around, so it's all come to mean the same thing to me, really. However, without Catholicism we wouldn't have cathedrals, and I do like cathedrals!

To me, religion is just a bunch of self rightous men telling people how to live their lives. The Bible also contradicts itself alot.

anyway, i have no particular stance on religion, but i don't hate any either. in my opinion many of the ones deemed stereotypically by society in derogatory forms are most probably the fanatic/elitist/extremist element of the religion. most of the time the calmer members of the same religion do not even condone the actions of the former members.

but Sunday's are mine.
