Yeah. Games out. At least here it is. a hefty $100NZD (PC games are usually about $50-$80NZD), too. people who have played it say that it's a little gimmicky, though ultimately fun, and that single player is not the whole experience.

Still, will borrow it off of someone I know. Apparently with each purchased copy of Spore you get 3 installs before you can't spread the disc around anymore. Kind of weird I thought, even if to protect against pirates such as MOST OF YOU CUNTS

And in my defence, as a pirate, do you see prices these days? 80 EURO for 1 game! Hell no. Especialy since 90% of that crap is EA and non of their games are worth that kind of money.

I bought it yesterday. Only used the creators so far but it's such fun to use them. Made this thing that walks on an omivore mouth, has mouths on 2 knees that merge into 1 bulging sac-like leg, and has all manner of other hideous evolutionary deformities. It can jump surpprsingly well, considering its shape.
Deciding on its colour scheme is the tricky part now, purple-based, purple-and-multicoloured, or Posion-arrow-Frog style speckled blue or black & yellow.....

I also tried to make an Elum, and it's a lot harder than it looks to do. No real Elum-esque herbivore mouths for one thing.

Um, daft question but, in the Creature Creator (the one for fully evovled creatures) where the HELL are the wings? I can't find any wings anywhere.

I managed to get the game and I think it's good, though a bit cartoony. I didn't realise it takes creatures you've made earlyer and puts them as enemies, so when I got attacked by a herd of carnivorous Meeps it really surprised me.

If you give a Meep a herbivore mouth they won't attack. Also, thanks for the wing tip, Laser. I assume there's plenty more unlockable parts too, then.

I'm about to try Meep making as well. I've also downloaded Conceit's Paramite (which is tremendous, if a little off-colour) and 1%er, which I'm recolouring and renaming as he listed it as Skillya. However, Im keeping my edits of his work confined to my game, I don't want to upload his work under my name as it feels like theft.

Man is Spore addicting. I'm starting the Civilization Phase right now, after building them a city hall the first thing they asked for was a tank XD. My creatures are true savages. They kill absolutely everything in sight first chance they get. In the 'Path Chosen' screen I'm at the very bottom!

I got it yesterday, played for like, two hours straight today.

Got to the beginning of civ. It's interesting so far, although my buildings look like crap. I'm not an architect by any means. Cars look kick-ass though.

I've also been trying to see in the middle. I WANT to be evil but I heard if you go overboard by space stage EVERY planet is going to be against you. And I don't want that >_<.
