how do i drop from runnig 2 a roll on pc version of exodus

hello this is my first thread and i am playng the pc version of exodus i have compleated it meany times on the ps and i cannot figure out how 2 drop 2 a roll from running im on the path 2 the executive office in the boneworks where u go through the mothion sencors and get chased by the slogs, im stuck on the bit where the first slig is where u have 2 jump up 2 the platform above 2 avoid being shot but when i jump down (as i dont know how 2 drop 2 a roll from runing on the pc version) if i stop 2 crouch and roll i get massicerd by the slogs there is not enough time 2 stop drop and roll so i get eaten, any ideas pll all hepl is gr8tly apriciated
(p.s im useing a keyboard and the x button is fart (i dont expect pressing this will make him roll i will try but i dunno)and shift is run if i let go off the shift button and press down he dosent roll he just walks i have 2 compleatly stop so i can roll so any help)

What baffles me is how you got to boneworkz when the mudomo/mudanchee vaults require you to do the same thing.

I have runjump when two Paramites where chasing me.Then The Paramites Fall Down and i can Roll.In my Game Version i Roll with down Button.And Run with w+Left or Right Buttons.I will Run Then i Push on Down.Then Abe Stop Met Running and then Slogs eat Me.

you still have to hold shift and the arrow button like normal running.just hold them and then hold down x

p.s: how can you not be a dutchman if you live in holland?

I came out Poland.And I Have tried to "Hold Shift andd Press the Arrow Button then press X"
Then Nothing.Abe Do not Run, and dont Roll!!!.I run not with Shift+Arrow keyes, but with W+Arrow Keyes!!!!And i Crouch not with x or z.I crouch with Down Arrow Key!!!

right load the game up and on the menu screen go on options.then go on controls.highlight keyboard (press up)and then press c on your keyboard.you can then choose to change them,or a better idea is to press escape and see what they are at the moment.

1) Find a nice blank patch of nowhere to practice (It's what OI gave you Necrum Mines for).

2) Run as you would normally (holding 'shift' and the arrow key that points in the direction of your choice.)

3) Press and hold down 'X' and keep holding down 'shift'.

4)You should crouch down and roll in the direction you're facing. If you let go of 'X' you'll start running again. If you let go of 'shift' you'll probably stand up and start walking. If you let go of the direction you'll remain crouched but unmoving.

Hope that works for you. Practice makes perfect.

I have tryied to Change controls.But I have changed Run to "shift" But I change "Roll/Fart" to X, and then i fart with X!!!!I wil do not Roll with X but Fart with X!!!!

you wouldnt fart while running.obviously the x key has two functions.fart, and it makes you roll,if you hold it down while running.
