This thread is similar to the Admin for a Day thread Wolfpac made a few monthes ago, except this time you talk it through a God's, President's, or Dictator's view. Basically, it's another lame political thread on how you would like to see the world.

Whether a raging, cross-country battle on war-torn continents or a peaceful civilized world which you know can't exist, spill it out from your view and discuss.

If I were a God I would dedicate my immortal life to the preservation of life in all its forms.
Only those who truly worshiped me, not those favor prayers, would see my divine intervention. However I would smite whoever annoyed me.

Maybe you'd like to live in an uninhabited land with nothing but little furry things for company, with no protection from the sun or various insects/dangerous animals, and you'd eat fruit and vegetables every day, uncooked (as you don't have a stove or frying pan or anything, because they were of course made by humans who ruin everything), and you'd have no protection from the rain or sun, and you'd catch pneumonia/skin cancer and die at 30 years old. Does that sound nice to you? Or do you like sleeping in a comfy bed (made by humans), living in a nice house (made by humans) which protects you from the elements, eating good harmless processed food (which is processed in a factory which you so despise), having everything by your side at a supermarket instead of having to look for it yourself...?

I'd pretty much have everything the same, except me... Well, I'd have super powers and I could transform into whatever/whoever I wanted with their powers/intelligence and such. I'd also make really cool things happen. Well, not that I can name any right now, but... you know.

And I would always have an excuse for being late to class (Because always being on time would never be fun)... Like, having a meteor hit me and miraculously I survive, or being eaten by a huge monster or something and be spitten out a day later... I dunno. I'd make it up as I went.

Okay this all originally started when someone asked me what I would do if i could go back in time.
I would go back in time during the beginning of the Industrial age. I would go back with my two sisters who I trust with my life and note book filled with various information I deemed useful.
The three of us would form a cult, to outsiders it would appear just a haven for immigrants but thats only a half truth, the cult would preach that my sisters and I were people chosen by God to lead our followers into the next golden age.

With the assistance of my cult I would become a economic power most likely dealing with oil, possibly surpassing Rockefeller. I would make deals and work with other economic powers only to betray them and steal their wealth. I would use my economic strength to promote a white guy for president. The man would pretend to be a true Christian when he is really one of my cultists. I would be the real ruler the white guy would just be a figure head. I would work to make my America to become a military might. Then I would use the media to report fake attacks on America. By everyone wanting vengeance for the nonexistent attack it would be okay to wage war. I would eventually conquer all of world. When this happens I would have the President give all credit for the unification of the world to me. The media would shout me a hero and only report good things, never talking about the death of soldiers or problems throughout the world.

My Cult would replace the senate either by election or through force. With their approval and the President's assent he would step down and allow me to rule. Czar Venks.
The schools would teach of my greatness, practically everything would be fabricated lies. I would rewrite history to my liking. Anyone who disputed my rule or said anything against me would be killed or thrown to the jails to be brain washed via torture. There would be no America it would only be the the Venksian Empire. I wouldn't promote individuality. I would promote/force working as a collective machine. Groups of people meeting for anything other then work would be illegal. I would make sure that human kind does as little damage as possible to nature. As it is simply something I wish for. And what the Czar wants the Czar gets. The future Czars would be either my own or my sister's children.

And also, humanity would ditch the retarded-ass conservative form of politics and strive to bring humanity to a point of great living. Not like robots providing everything for us, but where world conflict, disease, and corruption is at a minimum.

If I had the power to change anything, I would get myself a huge mansion somewhere in Florida with a 5 star luxury suite, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, hot tub, waterbed, and my tablet, tablet pen, and all my pencils encrusted with diamonds. Oh, and an army of sexy male individuals to cater to my every need.
Otherwise, I would leave the world as it is. World peace is nice, but it would get awfully boring after a while. You know that inexplicable bliss you get, when the war is finally over, or when the epidemic ceases, or when the tyrant is overthrown? There's a reason the bad things exist, and that is so the good things can also exist. You can say they're even amplified by the existance of evil.

The biggest change would be respect. Tolerance isn't enough, everyone would respect other people's views, religions or whatever. That would solve most, if not all, of the world's human crises.

Drugs, on the other hand, I would have a hard line on drugs. Everything except caffeine (and, reluctantly, alcohol). I mean seriously, while those who willingly vandalise their brains have given up the right to have them, these people do need to be looked after for their own good. And seriously, what a mark on someone's personality, that to enjoy themselves they must addle their minds so. In such an amazing and interesting world we have actually invented boredom, thus proving we can do the impossible. And because of it, we need drugs! Well, I'm sorry, but in my world the respect for each other also extends to ourselves, and the universe around us.

Perhaps then we can appreciate what we have and maybe not do all in our power to desecrate it. If everyone took five minutes out of each day to do something they wouldn't normally do, for the environment or for other people, well, that's six and a half billion times five minutes... 61,834 years worth of environmental and humanitarian aid everyday. Of course, it may not work out quite like that, since there's only so much you can do in five minutes, but the concept is there to be refined.

And that is just the beginning...
