I'm such a dork but... Does anyone have one?

Okay, it's this Instant Messaging system called "IMVU". I'm sure you've seen it all over but... I took the time to check it out, and it is pretty cool.

1. You have a 3-D avatar that costs absolutely nothing.

2. You can change a lot about their appearance and clothes. At first it may not seem like it but...trust me, you'll be able to.

3. even if you don't know anyone at first, they have a "chat Now" option that allows you to talk to any random person online, so you aren't just sitting there staring at your avatar.

4. I have one, so you should too.

Anyways... If you already have an avatar there, post your avatar name here and we might be able to chat.

And if you don't have one but want one, here is the site! Just post your user name here. And for reference, my name is Arxryl if you want to talk to me.

http://www.imvu.com/signup

Again, it look dorky, but it really isn't.

I would actually strongly warn anyone against downloading that program. I did once, and my computer instantly got riddled with literally thousands of popup viruses. I'm not sure if whoever owns that site cleared the viruses or not, it was a while ago, but 'd recommend anyone who downloads the program to excersize caution.

I downloaded it once and thought it was just some sort of slutty porn chat service. Have you seen what they do on the actions?

Yeah, I've seen the advertisements and visited the website a few weeks back. That isn't quite appropiate for younger players and it goes way past the clothes limits for younger audiences.

I know another MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) where you can choose from several games, from flying around with a jetpack on a 3d moon map, to taking up your sword in an ancient land and killing beasts for Experince and XP points, as well as killing other players. Then there's is another one where you can blast each other with a tank.

It's a good browser-based game for a boring afternoon. Completely free, too.

I had it a while back but lost it when I reinstalled my PC and never got it back. It was fun because you could also get tails and stuff to put on your char, I had a tiger tail .

Yeah, some of the stuff is less than appropriate, but that's why I'd want to have friends to talk to so I know that we wouldn't end up doing that.

Also, whn you sign up, you can choose only to talk to people around your age such as "Teens Only" and such.

I'm just so lonely talking to these girls....

Heh, I don't see why a teenager can get lonely talking to underage girls, giggity giggity.

On a serious note, I'm having a fun time with it as one of my friends actually had it.

Yeah, SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURE.

On another note, if I downloaded it, I would make a slutty female avatar, and if someone tried to Cyber-with me or something, they'd find the experience slightly more "Phallyc" then they'd normally expect.

Heh Heh Heh.

Im sure I would download it but the warnings of viruses kinda make me stop, it's just not worth the risk (My previose 2 computers were lost to data corruption and the one before that got a virus that wiped its hard drive).

Who dosn't know about maidmarian.com? It cant be a secret, Sherwood Dungeon is advertised almost as much as Adventurequest and Dragonfable.

Both very stupid, very bad games.

So basically, Budget Second-Life? No thanks.

If I were to play an MMO, i'd splurge for World Of Warcraft.

I agree, only I mentioned three games. They are all pathetic (and yet adventurequest and dragonfable somehow manage to make money).

I hate super evangelical christians slightly less than people like you, and we have a WHOPPER to worry about right now, so I'll let that slide.
