ODDWORLD goodies auctioned in ebay

I´m new in this forums, I think I´m not breaking a rule, but…

I have post two Oddworld related articles for bid in ebay. I´m a old Oddworld fan and I don´t want bid them but I and my family need the money. Surely in the next week or so I will put in ebay two things signed personally for Lorne and Sherry.

Hmm... I'm truely interested in those two things. But I dun have the money for an auction, I guess, too many oddworld fans want to get them.
So it's surely gonna be pretty expensive.

Hey, thanks for the heads up, Aloloco! I already have all the Holiday cards, so I’ll leave them for someone else to enjoy, but I’ve got none of those postcards and stickers (excepting the fan club stickers), so I’m quite interested in those.

I’m really sorry to hear of your money problems, but Oddworld merch always goes for high, high prices. Sometimes ridiculously high. Good luck with everything.

I wrote several letters to them and they very amiably answer me and in addition different goddies were sending me in diferent times.

I even spoke with Lorne by email several times ;-)

I so desperately want that stuff, especially the Christmas cards/postcards, but i don't really have the money to fund internet bidding, nor do I fully trust it. Not that I am doubting your trust aloco, more the matter of whether the shipping goes aheadproperly and the items and money go to the correct owners. Some day I'll own that Oddworld merchandise, hopefully.

That reminds me of those few who have spoken with the cast and crew of Scrubs, when dialling the joke number of Turk's mobile telephone, and finding that (against all odds) it actually connected to a payphone on-set.

Oh man... more counting.
well that would make a total of 8 people. and then the people that worked on the Oddworld games would make about 30 or 35 and then there is Sherry which would make 31 or 36 and then I think that Lorne being Lorne would make 32 to 37 people. and then there are his parents, grandparents, classmates, gas station people, doctors, nurses, teachers, fans, game producing people, advertising people, car salesmen, people who work at Sears, and then all the random people that stop and say "hi".
that adds to upwards of 1,000 people.
But as far as I have counted only 'bout 6 people who have posted here on the forums.... but still. that is quite a number. both 6 and 1,000...[/trying to act smart and counting]

I was in this forum (I believe that it was the same one) years ago, I called CrazyVykker, in year 2000 or thus, long ago, then they were Abebabe and another Australian young who had another web about Oddworld.

I spoke with Lorne by email, not personally, please excuse me if I have expressed badly, my english is not very good.

I don´t take long for him answers, normally he answer me the next day morning (different horary uses), I only can tell good things about Lorne, NEVER ignored one of my emails (four or five I sent), he was really a very, very kind person and, in the form he answer me, and amiable person was with me I only can think Lorne is a charming, very good person.


I have post another item in ebay a christmas postcar hand signed personally by Sherry and Lorne.

I have only a thing more to auction about oddworld. If you had asked to me 5 years ago if I had auctioned these things about Oddworld I was answer you NEVER !!!!, but...

Damn, I missed out on the period when Oddworld was big, exciting and visibly growing, as I was without Internet. Hell! It'll be ages before we come full circle and return to that type of period, when the fourms were lively and interacted with OWI.

That was a pretty good deal, I was watching a set of 5 stickers on ebay US and they went for $75 I couldn’t believe it!
