okay, i know i have too many ideas at once, but this time i promise to stay commited...really!


chapter one:
All there was was fire all around me as the building collapsed, sligs scattering in every direction untill blasts of lightning and fire desintagrated the poor creatures. I ran for the door as did my fellow mudokons, but I was lifted off the floor by an unseen force, facing what seemed like death: the face of a creature that resembled something...familiar. As I searced my mind a pulse of fear too vast to imagine washed over me. "...s samus?" The creature spoke in a tonuge that was also fearfully familiar, yet I didn't understand. Then ... there was darkness.

"She's waking up!"
I woke up facing an unfamiliar ceiling. I tried to sit up, but dizziness and nausiousness kept me down. "you all right?" A mudokon was sitting next to me, a rather concerned looking one at that. "yeah I think so...what happened?"
"the factory was destroyed by some creature, I found you outside with a crowd of scrabs. i'm suprised that they didn't eat you. so,what's your name?"
" um...lemme think.I don't think I can remember. What's yours?"
"i'm kanden. how about I get some food while you try to remember your name?"
"sure. thanks kanden"
when he left, I tried to establish just what kind of condition I was in. nothing serious, just a couple of cuts bruises and burns. 'what the...' there was a symbol burned into my right hand, and something on my arm. 'what really did happen in there?' I wondered.

sorry i haven't written in a while. my computer had diarrhea (get it? physical memory dump.) oh, and just so you know, the first couple chapters are before Abe.

Chapter two

grak le nog *hold on... lemme turn on the english*

"Noxus, are you ready to carry out my orders?" among the rubble stood what resembled the ghost of a scrab and towering over it, was a ... creature of sorts. "Yes Samus. I just hope the girl wasn't captured", said the ghost, who was standing over five scrab eggs. "She is safe. Do it...now!" The ghost started to glow in a blinding light before sending a bolt of lightning into the gathering clouds. Two bolts came down and enveloped the creature, and at that very moment, every scrab on oddworld screamed into the sky in a powerful sorrow that can never be felt by any other creature. The the light faded and the clouds separated...the creature was gone. A red glint among the ruins revealed a jewel, which the ghost took and then dissapeared along with the eggs.

"I have entrusted you with the jewel which holds the spirit of the Scrabanian Queen...The Ocolith, and her last five children." a white scrab was hovering in front of her, five eggs were in the corner. "Protect them. Take them to the temple.", it said before dissapearing. She sat up abruptly in a cold sweat. 'Just a dream, it was just a dream' She froze when she spotted a whisp of smoke shaped like a scrab claw dissapear behind the curtain. She slowly looked over to the corner of the room and to her horror, there were five eggs!


hold on... i'll have to finish this chapter later via edit button. too much distraction.

okay the rest of chapter two:

Slowly, she creeped out of bed and inched along the wall as if the eggs were going to explode. When she finally got to the door, she remembered the weirdo scrab that just left a while ago, and peeked around the corner to find him just outside the door with a mysterious red orb hovering in front of him. Then he turned to face her...and everything dissapeared.

alright guys. i'm sorry, but my home planet has contacted me and even if my computer is revived from the dead, i can't continue the story right now! oooooooohhh! i've been sommoned back to omicron perseai 8675309 for my initiation into the position of 'alpha elite' thanks to my powers (suspisiously like abe's). the bad news is that i'll have to bunk with that fat ass bad ass predator. till' next time my little lab animals!

oooh keeeeeee.....that last one was weird. i have refined myself to normal standards. the long awaited open ended third chapter:

*gasp* She sat up in her bed in a cold sweat 'what? wait, this seems too familiar...' she snapped her head over to the corner where the scrab eggs were supposed to be. 'alright, so this time it was definately a dream', she thought with a sigh. Stretching, she finally got out of bed after what seemed to be an eternity. "ow" flinching at the cut on her back that just made itself known, she went out to find Kanden, and to tell him about the strange dream she had.
"I think i'm gonna be sick..." Kanden was putting a huge blanket over a cage that contained the same five scrab eggs. "oh, odddammnit! when will it ever end!" Kanden calmly bent down and picked up a small glass case and walked over to her "You had a dream last night where a ghost told you about the ocolith and samus' last five children". "Yeah! i had a strange dream with this ghost and...wait, what?! how do you know? egad! will somebody please tell me just what in odd's name is going on around here!" Kanden sighed, "It wasn't a dream, me and some others saw the whole thing. I think BigFace can best explain this." He led her over to Bigface's hut, where a group of impatient mudockons were waiting for them. "what kept ya? you didn't crack any of em' did ya?" stated one of them sarcasticly "stop messing around like that Dan, you know if any were damaged now, we'd be in big trouble."

wow. did everyone die or something? alright, updates: i'm adding suggested music tracks to each chapter to set the mood. (i can't really post any links cause i don't know where to find them, but i will give you a title.) so far, the first two chapters go with 'halo' by depeche mode. usually when i get an idea for a fic, it comes from late addictions, or a sudden gloved smack to the face kinda' inspiration. sorry that the story is so slow. i promise that i will post longer chapters and that it will pick up real soon. the next chapter will hopefully have some Q&A (if anybody has any questions? anyone? hello?(ecoes)). whatever. (((whatever))) stop that! ((( stop that! ))) really! i mean it!! ((( okay))) ....? some comments would be nice.

alright, this is getting annoying, or maybe it's me. i'm slowly concocting a new fic and this one has almost died. in fact, i've almost given up on this since getting addicted to metroid via the best damn sprite comic that's 700+ and still updating! (would you believe that it was made by a pokemon fanatic?) crap, off track, anyway......i'm gonna drop this thing for awile to begin a new fic about my secret identity, and a particularly strange encounter with one of my favorite inspirations. oh, well. the computer is acting up again, so you may not see me that often.
