In 10 years, personal computers and videogame console will be 20+ times more powerful and faster than today. so, you can expect to play a game with a so immersive atmosphere that you will almost forget you are on Earth.

I hope OWI keep making games with great storylines and fantastic simulated worlds, in the future.

That would depend on if OWI keeps making games in the future. I sure hope so.

Don't expect OWI to stop making games: Lorne won't stop 'til Oddworld's in every household, and there's plenty more households that need infiltrating.

I think it'll be awhile before we even get to see Squeek's Oddysee, what with Munch's many bonus games, the Habitales and the Fearietales.

Wonder how many people would like Oddworld in 10 years? Everybody in my school wether hate it or havent heard about it... The 3D games like Resident evil and that kinda things keeps making people forgetting the magic that could be in a 2D game, right? Sorry, just kepping talkin bullshit...

It all depends on the success of the Xbox launch. But I hope they'll have finished the Quintology and move on to making other games - possibly Starcraft or SimCity -type games. That would be cool.

Remember that OW was supposed to be like a movie saga, but it was turned into a game. Yes there will be alot of games to come but dont just expect that. You cant explore the whole of Ow by pressing buttons, you need to watch and see it. Unless after everyscreen you stop and stare at the background. Well that hardly happens.
After the quintology i hope to see OW on the silver screen

wow! 10 years. in the video gaming industry thats several console generations(3-4 estimated by recent technological advances). we cantr even possibly imagine what the games will be like in 10 years! well, lets learn from the past, shall we? in 1991, i was about five! this was around the same time as super nintendo came out. the most amazing effects on the bigscreen were those of T2. for one, to see a sub-cartoony mario in comparison to the new Metal Gear Solid game is like to choose between Rosie O'Donell in a huge sweater or Hiedi Klume in a tight vicky secret bikini! theres a BIG difference!!! now, has ne1 seen T2 lately? i cant believe how chep it looks to me now! i guess ive gotten too used to CGI! now consider tose crappy T2 graffix against Matrix's graffix! that's a one-hit K.O.! now, if u will, look at the leaps and bounds in technology n science. Its like a locomotive that once started, just gets fast n faster! the equivolent of a video game in 10 years will make our games look like games from 15-20 years ago! so we now hav pong vs the Matrix!

just think of that next time u consider wat the future holds

I always think that in the future the direction of gaming will take on a more realistic focus than ever before... either through virtual reality gaming or maybe if some kind of holodeck technology is developed (i.e. Star Trek).

Imagine that... playing Oddworld as if you are actually there... being able to live and experience the whole Oddworld universe... the creatures and everything around you. That would certainly be awesome!!!
